The Matterhorn - Review
Once you see the Matterhorn, don’t be surprised if you feel like you’ve seen it somewhere before. The shining glory of Switzerland, the Matterhorn is featured on the logo of the beloved chocolate brand, Toblerone. Right dubbed as the symbol of Switzerland, the Matterhorn is one of the most beautiful sights you’ll ever set your eyes on!
The most photographed mountain of the world, the Matterhorn seems like a jagged rock tooth, standing tall, proud and alone! The closest you can get to the Matterhorn is from the Klein Matterhorn, which is accessible by cable car and a funicular. If you do however, wish to scale the mountain, you need to be in top physical shape as it’s not going to be an easy climb. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Zermatt Itinerary 3 Days.

The Matterhorn, Zermatt Reviews
Indeed fantastic experience, several thousand meters above the sea level gives a wonderful feeling. Breathtaking views of this place. Views from the top are a bliss to the eyes. Could not take the helicopter ride over this place. This is real pleasure and cannot be described in words. Wonderful place.
Well what can I say about the Matterhorn. Over 5000 metres above sea level. The views are stunning up there if your lucky enough to take a helicopter ride. The crevases and terrain are awesome. We landed on the edge of the mountain parking our helicopter I kid you not!!!!!. I was walking about in -10 degrees the air gets very thin the higher you go. Can you imagine getting out of the chopper and walking about with normal clothes on. I had a t -shirt and pair of jeans and wondered why I was so cold. I had to make back to our helicopter for my jacket rather quickly making sure I didn't slip over. I felt like I had conquered the World. I had never been in a helicopter before and most certainly not stepped foot on a mountain covered with snow. It was a retirement gift from the local Police of Sion as we had been working together on cross country projects regarding football hooliganism issues over a period of five years. A moment i will never forget. Thank You Sion for a gift you cannot buy.....Inspirational!!!
Words are not enough you need to go visit place!! Must see once in life
Matterhorn is beyond human words. If i can make an atempt to describe it from my humble human condition when i was looking at its grandeur, i would say It is a throne of ages, of stone and frost. Still and silent over the world, distant, imposing. Majestic and beautiful like so many mountains across the Earth, yet so unique. True contemplation.
Amazing experience. No words to describe. Peaceful and a bliss to eyes and heart. Paradise on earth.
