Once you see the Matterhorn, don’t be surprised if you feel like you’ve seen it somewhere before. The shining glory of Switzerland, the Matterhorn is featured on the logo of the beloved chocolate brand, Toblerone. Right dubbed as the symbol of Switzerland, the Matterhorn is one of the most beautiful sights you’ll ever set your eyes on!
The most photographed mountain of the world, the Matterhorn seems like a jagged rock tooth, standing tall, proud and alone! The closest you can get to the Matterhorn is from the Klein Matterhorn, which is accessible by cable car and a funicular. If you do however, wish to scale the mountain, you need to be in top physical shape as it’s not going to be an easy climb.

Amazing hike up to the base camp Hornli Hut filled with challenging areas and beautiful views. The best part is that there is a cafe at the base camp where you can refill before you head back down! This is a must do for any hiking enthusiast.
Most amazing part of the Swiss Alps is around this iconic mountain. To get there isn't cheap (think 100 euro per person) but definately worth it. Excellent hiking.
One of the most beautiful place in the world. My favorite! No other words...
I was near the Matterhorn in the Italian side ( Matterhorn in Italian is called Cervinia ) in the town of Bruil-Cervinia. It looked gorgeous I could not keep my eyes away from it when I visited it from start to end. Also there was a hiking path to it.
Zermatt is a unique and beautiful little village which is car-free and it had the cable car ride to the majestic Matterhorn mountains. If the weather is good you can see one of the most amazing mountain!
