Zhangjiajie Tourism

It is also a home to the Tianzishan mountain ranges, Tianzi Mountain scenic area, Baofenghu and the Suoxi Valley.

  • The area gets super crowded during the Chinese national holidays (Labour Day: May 1–3, National Day: October 1–7), in summer vacations (July and August). It is recommended to avoid visiting the area during this time.
  • Always book your hotels and guides way ahead of your visit.
  • Pack warm clothes, rainy-wear and comfortable shoes.
  • Carry altitude sickness medicines.
