One of the quickest hikes in Zion National Park, the Canyon Overlook Trail is best for families with children. Covering over 1 mile for a round trip, this trail gives you a great view of the main canyon. The trail starts with steps made from the sandstone and it just gets more picturesque as you reach the edge of the cliff. The view from the top includes the lower Zion Canyon, West Temple, East Temple, Towers of the Virgin and the Streaked Wall. There are several hoodoos and wildflowers that surely are a delight for kids as they hike up their way up.
