Chinle Trail is one of the most well-known trails along the desert section of the Zion National Park. The most striking aspect of this trail is the petrified forest where petrified bits of ancient trees are still seen strewn across the trail. Located the lower desert section, the Chinle Trail is one of the best winter trails in the park. Being away from those parts of the park where visitors flock the most, this trail is best to enjoy its beauty in solitude.
