Located between Zion Canyon and the Kolob Canyons which are located near Cedar City, the Kolob terrace road offers you a 21-mile scenic drive to Lava Point, starting at the small town of Virgin. From the magnificent golden valleys to the sublime North and South Guardian Angels high in distance, the Kolob terrace renders you an experience of a different sort. What makes this road even more special is that it is also home to one of the most popular canyons in Zion: The Left Fork of North Creek, which is also called as "the Subway." Just keep in mind that this part of the park is usually inaccessible during the colder months.
