  • This is a beautiful, Majestic, and Grand Park any time of year. Winter has less guests and a tram ride is not required to ride through the canyon. After a winter rain, you will often see short-lived waterfalls during your visit. In in autumn, the Fall Foliage splashes the area with a myriad of colors. In Spring, the river is flowing nicely and everything turns green. In the summer, it's busy, but the tram makes it easier to get around the park. You can hike a trail from one end to the other, and then get on a tram, rather than having to backtrack your steps to the beginning of the hike. The main Park Visitor Center is open all year round. It has an indoor and outdoor sections. Even after the park closes in the evening, or before it opens in the morning, you can gain information from the outdoor displays at this Visitor Center. During the 2019 government shutdown, most facilities remain open. A conglomeration of Park Associations is funding the maintenance of facilities.

  • Well folks. A 4.8 star average rating of thousands of people pretty much sums it up. This park rocks! Its very unique too with its layout. You lodge outboard of the park, wake up early and then get in line to catch an informative bus up to all of the stops throughout the park. Each stop has different day hikes that you can choose from with different difficulties. I do believe it takes a good 45 minutes to get to the last stop, so if you're trying to get out there early, be sure to get on the bus first that way you beat the crowds! If you get to the park at 10:00am - forget about it. You'll be hiking behind a pack of people as if you were waiting in line at the mall for the latest iPhone. Do yourself a favor and hit it as early as you can and you won't be disappointed! Enjoy

  • One of the best places I've visited. Amazing geology and experiences. The Best walk is love but totally doable and recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer, and can't wait til the kids are old enough to take back

  • Breathtaking. I've made this journey from Vegas multiple times and each time becomes more rewarding. Mother Nature takes my breath away and makes my heart skip a beat. The Narrows and The Subway are still on my bucket list!!

  • This is the west I grew up watching in the westerns! Glorious colors accent the rich tapestry of heights and textures that are as beautiful in the tiny little micro scenes along the trail as they are in the grand majestic macro canyon! We love this place!!!
