Stupendous cycling tour. Even though it was a wet and rainy morning, the guide came well prepared. Picked up at the hotel by car with bikes mounted and driven to said location. I am pleasantly surprised that a quality very well maintained hybrid mountain bike was used and it was a joy to ride on. No problems with ascent and descent even in wet weather with the raining coming down hard at some instances (I insisted on going ahead with the tour despite the downpour. Lunch was a lovely authentic local meal followed by a short visit to the museum which was rather interesting if you are into tea making and tea varietals. Friendly English speaking guide who knows his stuff and. very attentive to safety. Highly recommended if you are into a bit of an outdoor experience although I should stress that some basic to intermediate cycling experience and being reasonably fit will make the tour an outstanding one.

Highlight of our trip to Taipei. Alex, our guide was excellent in guiding us on our cycling trip to rural Taipei that lots of tourists miss. We visit tea farms that were so peaceful and quiet. After our trip we have a great meal at a tea restaurant and also have tea at a tea farmer home. We end up looking at Crocodile Island that lots of my Taiwanese friends back in Canada do not even know about the location.
