Day 1: Welcome to the Amazon Rainforest (L - D)
Stop At: Tambopata National Reserve, Tambopata National Reserve, Madre de Dios Region
Once you arrive to Lima you will connect with your domestic flight to Puerto maldonado. Upon your arrival in Puerto maldonado, Perus Capital City of Biodiversity, we will welcome you at the airport. Then, well start our program with a visit around the city, on a bus. Afterwards, we will go to Puerto Capitana, to board a motorized riverboat, and well navigate on the Madre de Dios River. During the journey, we will submerge into a fascinating natural environment, if we are lucky we will witness Ronsocos, Caimans, Turtles, Herons, Cormorants and other animal species in their natural environment. Arriving at the Lodge, we will enjoy an exquisite welcome drink, well get settled in our bungalows and will have lunch. Once satisfied, you will be conducted by our specialized tour guide through an interpretive trail conveniently signposted to the Caimn Cocha, a small lake with an abundant presence of the specimens of Black Caiman and the normal Caiman. Upon returning to the Lodge, a delicious dinner will await you, and enjoy free time at the bar, equipped with an excellent game room.

Day 2: Unique Amazon Rainforest (B - L - D)

The morning begins with the sound of beautiful bird songs from the Amazon Paradise. A hearty breakfast will provide the energy for a morning full of new experiences. After breakfast, well start to hike towards the depths of the forest, on trails especially prepared, with bridges to cross gorges and rivers. During the journey we will observe the flooded forest and a variety of Flora and Wildlife, and continuing well get to the majestic Lake Apu Victor with its crystal clear waters, surrounded by marshes and giant trees. Afterwards, well go up to the Observation Deck, from which well enjoy a panoramic view on the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos, Herons and other animals, such as Caimans, Turtles, etc., and if we are lucky, well have a chance to observe the Giant Otter, one of the Rain Forests most spectacular animals. After several hours, we will head back to the Lodge to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, a unique place in the heart of Madre de Dios River, five minutes away from the Lodge. During the hike, we will observe extraordinary landscapes, with an exuberant flora, sheltering a variety of monkey species, in their natural habitat, such as Maquisapas, Capuchins, Small Lion Monkeys, Frailes, Cotos and other animal species like the Coati and Sloths and a great variety of birds. Finally, well complete our visit of the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive dusk in the jungle. Back to the lodge we conclude the day with a pleasant dinner.

Day 3: The Amazon Rainforest to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (B)

After a restful night's sleep, the morning begins with the sound of beautiful bird songs from the Amazon Paradise. In our dining room awaits a farewell breakfast before embarking the return to Puerto maldonado where you will take your domestic flight to Cusco, the Capital of the Incas. Upon arrival in Cusco you will be met and get a warm welcome by the Cusco Unique Experience team. From Cusco you will be transferred to the Sacred Valley where you will have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4: The Sacred Valley & Train to Machu Picchu (B - L)

The Sacred Valley of the Incas was important for the Incan Empire as it worked as an agricultural, spiritual and political center. This tour will take you through amazing scenic Andean landscapes to the interesting archaeological site of the town Pisac which were a former military base of the Incas and is where ancient Inca priests once existed. Next stop will be at the town of Yanahuara where we will enjoy a delicious lunch based on typical dishes from the exquisite Peruvian cuisine. Ollantaytambo is the most well-preserved town in Peru today considering the Incan architecture and is also the holder of a great archaeological site, where big monuments are located on the steep mountain hills and the faces of the surrounding mountains. After experiencing Ollantaytambo, the train ride to Aguas Calientes awaits and will take you through beautiful Andean landscape along the great Vilcanota River. In Aguas Calientes, neat touristic restaurants, souvenir markets and natural hot springs will be available. There you will get settled comfortably in your hotel and get a good night sleep before the next days big adventure to the Lost City of the Incas.

Day 5: Machu Picchu & Train to Ollantaytambo (B)

Very early in the morning you and the tour guide will take the bus up to Machu Picchu. Once the gates to Machu Picchu open, your guide will take you through an amazing roundtrip in this amazing city, you will pass by all its temples, offering areas, Inca monuments and you will learn about the history and the culture of the Incas. If you are an adventurous person and want to see more of the site, you can also take a hike to the magnificent mountain Huayna Picchu, located next to Machu Picchu. From there you can walk to the top of the mountain between Inca temples and houses and see Machu Picchu from many different angels. You can also hike down behind Huayna Picchu Mountain to its cave, where the Incas once kept mummies and sacred treasures. This hike is not included in the tour package and it is much recommended to book this hike several months in advance, due to its high popularity and restricted availability. In the late afternoon your train will take you back to Ollantaytambo where you will walk to your hotel which is located very close to the train station.

Day 6: Maras Moray & Chinchero (B - L)

Today you will visit some spectacular sites in the Sacred Valley of Cusco constructed by the Incas and the nature of Peru. This private tour will take you to the Salineras salt mine which includes over 3000 salt pools, close to the town of Maras. This tour will also show you the spectacular agricultural labs of the Incas, which have shapes of aqueducts from the old Roman times. The tour guide will explain with more information the myths and ancient histories about these two wonders. Arriving in the town of Chinchero, we will stop and have a delicious lunch in a touristic restaurant in where some of the famous Peruvian food will be served. Chinchero is famous for its amazing textile market and you can have the opportunity to buy a beautiful textile souvenir home. Its archaeological site is located beautifully together with the main church of the town and your tour guide will teach all about its history and myths. Before going back to your hotel in Cusco, you will get a demonstration of how the textiles in this area is hand made, colored and how the textile clothes is produced.

Day 7: Cusco City & Color your Journey (B)

Cusco City is not only the ancient capital of the Incas, but also the most popular tourist destination in South America. The city tour will take you to Qorikancha; the temple of the sun, which was the most important religious center of the Incas, where ancient temples are located and the history of the Spanish conquest and the Inca society will be found. It will take you to the very interesting Cathedral located on Plaza de Armas in Cusco which is a very important place for the locals of Cusco, there you will find some very important paintings, art and histories. The tour also goes to the amazing Inca fortress Sacsayhauman, where the Incas ones had a big war against the Spanish conquistadors, to Qenqo, a religious Inca site, to Tambomachay, an intelligent irrigation center and to Pukara Pukara, a military base of the Incas.
After the visit you will be transferred back to your hotel. At the end of the day, be surprised with your choice of a detailed coffee or chocolate workshop, go relaxing in an Incan inspired spa session or take a Peruvian cooking class and learn all about the famous Peruvian Cuisine.

Day 8: Cusco to Lake Titicaca (B - L)

In time for your bus ride to Lake Titicaca you will be picked up at your hotel in Cusco and transferred to the bus station. During the 10-hours bus ride you will be visiting different touristic sites such as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas of Andahuaylillas, the Inca temple of Raqchi, enjoying the view point of la Raya, the Museum of the Inca Aymara and you will enjoy a delicious lunch in the town of Sicuani. During the trip your guide will explain you all about the different sites and its histories You will arrive in Puno around 5:30pm from where your driver will transfer you to your hotel at the banks of Lake Titicaca.

Day 9: Uros & Taquile Floating Islands (B - L)
Stop At: Lake Titicaca, Puno, Puno Region
In the morning you will be transferred from your hotel in Puno to the port where we will board the boat. On the way we visit two floating islands, inhabited by the legendary Uros, fishermen who have made the use of Totora reeds a way of life. Sailing on Totora boats is available and optional.
Thereafter we will depart to Taquile Island, slowly we ascend to the town, a gentle hike that takes about 50-minutes. There we observe a native community that conserves ancestral forms. Its people are skilled weavers and you can interact with them and share your cultures.
Before returning back to Puno you will have lunch at a local restaurant. You can also go down the west side of the island on a staircase of 500 steps where you will see spectacular views.
At the port of Puno you will be transferred to your hotel at the banks of Lake Titicaca.

Day 10: Lake Titicaca to Colca Canyon (B)

In the morning you will be transferred from your hotel at Lake Titicaca to the bu station in Puno where your bus ride to Colca Canyon awaits. During the 6-hour long trip you will have a few stops to look at bird species, lagoons, Andean animals, beautiful landscapes, have coca tea time and admire the mighty volcano Patapampa. Along the way you will be provided with snacks and water and the bus guide will explain all about the landscape and history you will be passing by. Once in Chivay a representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 11: Colca Canyon to Arequipa (B - L)

Very early in the morning, you will be met at your hotel and taken to the most spectacular places in the Colca Canyon. Along the way, we will stop in some small Andean villages where the Colonial architecture continues to be well preserved and you will experience some of the most amazing pre-inca terrases you can find around Per. We will then travel along the canyon until we reach the Mirador Cruz del Condor, which is the most popular viewing point for looking into the depths of the Colca Canyon; at this particular point the canyon is 1200m deep. From there you will almost always experience condors flying over you with breathtaking scenery in the background. You will have an opportunity for a short hike along the canyon. Once you have taken in the refreshing air of the Colca Canyon, we will head to your hotel in Arequipa, which will take approximately 4 hours.

Day 12: Arequipa Walking City Tour (B)

At first you will visit the Santa Catalina monastery, which is a sample of four centuries of Arequipa architecture. The intrusive cells, the small streets and cloisters are full of colorful flowers and walls painted in fresh dyes. The narrow alleys lead to the various parts of the convent that go through picturesque places with the original furniturs displayed. Thereafter the tour goes to the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa, one of the most beautiful main squares in Peru, the Jesuit Church of the Company, which in its beautiful facade shows the so-called mestizo architecture, its cloisters and dome, you will visit the Tristan del Pozo mansion and in the end, we will visit the Andean Santuarios museum where the lady of the Ampato is found, and other mummies whose stories are a sample of the magical religious beliefs and the man - nature relationship that supported their purpose of life in this world.

Day 14: Sand Buggie Adventure / Wine & Pisco Tasting Experience (B)
Stop At: Oasis of Huacachina, Ica, Ica Region
Once in Ica, you will get picked up and transferred to your hotel in the beautiful Oasis of Huacachina which dunes is a real pleasure to the eye and its oasis is one of a kind, as it looks like it was taken out of a Hollywood movie. During the day in Huacachina you will have the option going on either the Sand buggie adventure or the Wine & Pisco tasting experience.
Sand Buggie Adventure
Starting the tour at your hotel in Huacachina we will drive to the oasis and dunes area for an hour of dune buggy riding and sand boarding, a sport similar to snowboarding but in sand. There is no guide, but there is an assistant who will be able to help with learning how to sand board. After having enjoyed this unbeatable ride we will return to your hotel.
Wine & Pisco Tasting Experience
Ica treasures many secrets in the desert, where there are good grapes growing in order to make good pisco and wine. On this route, we will visit the renowned winery Vista Alegre, winner of prizes for the best piscos in the region. In this winery you can appreciate the production process of wines and piscos in an industrial way. Furthermore we will visit the Tacama winery which is considered the oldest in South America, to finish the tour we will visit the winery El Catador where you will visit the winery, the fermentation zone and its distillation. This is where our Peruvian piscos are made in an artisan way.
In the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel in Huacachina.

Day 15: The Nazca Lines (B)
Stop At: Nasca Lines, Nazca, Ica Region
In time for your flight over the Nazca Lines you will get picked up at your hotel in Huacachina and transferred to the airport of Ica. Meanwhile the flight you will experience the mysterious Nazca Lines and its geoglyphs that span a vast swath of the rugged Peruvian dessert. You will board an amazing flight over the incredible Nazca Lines, a series of ancient geoglyphs in the desert made by the Nazca culture (approx. 400 650AD). During the flight you will be able to see the most fascinating figures such as the monkey, the humming bird, the spider, the whale, the lizard, the shark among many others, you will experience a dozen of geoglyphs and the marine fossils. During the flight, your guide will explain interesting histories and facts about these amazing Nazca Lines. After the tour you will be transferred back to Huacachina to pick up your luggages whereafter the bus trip to Paracas awaits. Once in Paracas you will be transferred to your hotel in Paracas where you will have the rest of the day free. You can take a walk along the beach or the port and enjoy its neat restaurant and souvenir shops.

Day 16: The Ballestas Islands & to Lima (B)

Early in the morning from your hotel in Paracas your remarkable boat ride to the Ballestas Islands begins, which are three small islands filled with amazing wildlife. Throughout the tour, you will be able to see the Candelabro, which is a giant geoglyph in the shape of a candle holder cutted into the closely located mountain. When you arrive at the Ballestas Islands, you can observe amazing animals like seals, sea lions, sea birds, penguins, pelicans, tendrils, Inca tern, the Peruvian booby, the red legged cormorant and the guanay. You will travel closely around the islands to have spectacular views of the animals on the shore, animals flying overhead, and those swimming underwater. If you are lucky you can also see dolphins jumping and playing in the water. After the tour you will walk back to your hotel from the port which are closely located next to each other.
Later in the afternoon you will get picked up at your hotel and be transferred to the bus station in Paracas where your bus to Lima awaits. Once in Lima you will get picked up by a Cusco Unique Experience representative and be transferred to your hotel in Miraflores.

Day 17: Lima City Tour (B)

This morning, we will invite you on a private tour of Lima, The City of the Kings, where you will enjoy seeing the best of both colonial and modern Lima. Firstly you will experience Parque de Amore & Parque Bolivar in Miraflores which has a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and interesting statues. Next stop is at the San Martin Plaza where we will visit the main Cathedral, which corridors San Martin de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima used to walk along in the 17th century and where their remains rest today. Thereafter you will experience the Plaza de Armas of Lima, a beautiful square surrounded by palaces, before heading to the World Heritage Listed Monastery of San Francisco. This monastery is renowned for its architecture, a stunning 17th Century example of Spanish Baroque, and its convent library that possesses approximately 25,000 important antique texts. Hidden underneath the monastery, are the Catacombs, Limas first cemetery, where you will witness the remains of some 70,000 burials by exploring through narrow passages and looking down into deep pits that are lined with mysterious bones and skulls. After your tour, you will be taken back to your hotel and may spend the rest of the day at your at leisure.
