Know More about this tour

The itinerary listed below is for the current season. Given the unpredictable nature of Irelands weather, what you do each day might occasionally vary so that you have the best experience possible.

Day 1: The Ring of Kerry and Valentia Island tour

The Last Kingdom tour takes you further off the beaten track to unlock the real beauty of the world famous Ring of Kerry and even better, the spectacular Valentia Island where you can delve into its incredible history and heritage, explore its magical setting on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and if you are lucky get a glimpse (weather permitting) of the dramatic Skellig Islands.

After a bite to eat, you can take the opportunity to visit the Star Wars pre-production room that was used for filming, hear exclusive behind-the-scene stories and even become a Guinness Jedi Master just like Mark Hamill.

That evening, you can relax and experience the quaint coastal village of Portmagee and culinary delights.

Day 2: Skellig Experience Centre and Bray Head walking tour

Your day begins with a visit to the Skellig Experience Centre, where you can brush up on your knowledge of the Skellig Michael, a dramatic UNESCO World Heritage site which is situated 11 miles (17.7 km) of the coast of Kerry and rises up to over 230 metres above sea level.

Afterwards, you will take a mesmerizing walking experience up to Bray Head Tower, which offers a spectacular viewing point of the Skellig Islands and take the time to gaze out over the vast wild Atlantic Ocean and feel what it would be like to be a Jedi on this dramatic magical island.

After some lunch, you continue your journey around the spectacular Ring of Kerry back to Killarney, stopping off at many spectacular viewing points to learn of their historical importance and the opportunity to take that picture that will ensure an everlasting memory of paradise.
