One of the best tours I’ve been on.
James our tour guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable and approachable, an asset to the company. Being a very small group, James went out of his way to show us as much around his beautiful country as he could fit in.
The highlands are absolutely stunning, and with the recent snow, made it all the more beautiful.
Can’t wait to come back in summer now.
As Outlander brought the city of Inverness and I picked this trip to see that famous city! And I was blown away with everything else on this trip. Going over the mountians and some small hiking trips was wonderful. While it was dark when we got to Inverness I can say I was there. But the way back was the highlight! Loch Ness was beautiful! The boat ride was perfect. Glencoe was beyond humbling. Our guide was extremely educated and stopped multipule times for pictures and bathrooms. Can't recommend enough.
This was hands-down one of the best small tours I have taken! Steven is great! He is passionate about what he does, and it shows! Great sense of humor, super knowledgeable about Scotland history, and US pop culture! The highlands were stunning, as were all our other stops along the way. We were always kept in the loop about everything we were seeing and doing, and I was very pleased with the chosen lodging!
I highly recommend this tour, and especially our guide Steven!
We only had 4 days in Scotland and wanted to see as much as we could. It was a bit of a sacrifice to do an over night trip and lose time that could have been spent in Edinburgh. And it was 100% worth it. I kept looking out of the window at the scenery that passed in complete disbelief at the beauty. Fiona was our guide and she was kind, funny and took great care of us!
Trip was good with good accommodation and comfortable vehicle. Nice views and enough photo stops along the way. Maybe guided city tour in Inverness would be something to consider.
Stevie was our Driver. We had a wonderful two day trip to Loch Ness. He told us interesting stories about the areas as we drove and played fantastic music to go along with the stories. We stopped along the way at the Kelpies structures, beautiful waterfalls, many photo opportunities , pub lunches , shopping and whiskey tasting. Our accommodations in Inverness were very comfortable and located within walking distance to everything in town.
We saw so much in two days! The trip was a perfect balance of driving and stops. The van was comfy and clean with large windows. Our guide, William Drummond, was the heart and soul of the tour. He provided a knowledgeable, amusing tale of Scottish history as we drove that provided a context for all that we saw. thank you, William!
The trip was long but well worth it! Charlie our guide was very knowledgeable about Scottish history and pointed out great spots! He also had great music to go along with the places we saw!
Would definitely recommend this trip!
We had a wonderful time in this tour. Charlie, our driver was great. He was very experienced. Took us to amazing places. I will definitely recommend him and this tour
I felt that this was an excellent excursion. In addition to cruising on Lock Ness and seeing Inverness, we made a number of stops along the way that both broke up the drive and gave us a better appreciation for the Scottish highlands. For example, we did a whisky distillery tour, saw the sites of several famous battles in the history of Scotland (e.g., Culloden), stopped to take pictures of the highlands, and ate in a few pubs along the way. Overall, great trip. Many of the trip expenses, such as the cruise on Loch Ness, were not included in the tour price, but we were told this when booking, so there we no surprises.
