Start this private tour at 8am with your qualified Egyptologist tour guide who will be waiting for you at your hotel's lobby with a signboard having your name. Get on your private, modern a/c van and proceed to the different sites.
Day 1: Dahshur, Saqqara and Giza
Your first stop will be Dahshur, where you will see the Red Pyramid (first true pyramid) and the Bent Pyramid (first attempt to build a true pyramid).
Then move on to Saqqara and explore the Step Pyramid Complex of King Zoser (oldest complete building of stone). Have a look at the Pyramid of Unas (first pyramid with texts inside), the causeway of Unas, the Pyramid of Userkaf, the Pyramid of Teti (accessible with pyramid texts inside) and the tomb of Kagemni in Saqqara (a noble man of the Old Kingdom 2200 B.C.).
Afterwards your guide will take you to Giza, where you will see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Enjoy the scenery from the panoramic area and take a 30 min camel ride around the pyramids. Afterwards, explore the Valley Temple and take a closer look at the Great Sphinx. In the evening, enjoy the famous 'sound and light show' in Giza and learn about the history of the pyramids in Egypt.
Day 2: Cairo
Your first stop will be The egyptian museum. See the animal mummy room, the mummy portraits and King Tutankhamun's jewelry. Visit the Royal Mummy rooms (at extra cost) if you wish. Afterwards, sail on a Felucca on the Nile for one hour and enjoy the fresh breeze.
In the afternoon, proceed to Old Cairo and see the main sights, such as the Roman Fortress of Babylon and the Hanging church, the Church of Abu Serga, and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Explore the Citadel of Saladin and take some pictures of the panorama of the citadel, before exploring the mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha inside the citadel.
Take a stroll over Cairo's biggest market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, before proceeding to the port to board your dinner cruise ship. Enjoy a buffet dinner and be mesmerized by the oriental show.
You will be driven back to your accommodation both days after the tour is finished.
On this tour you will also have the chance to try authentic Egyptian food, such as 'koshary' (a mixture of lentils, rice and macaroni with a topping of tomato-vinegar sauce. There is a variation of spaghetti garnished with chickpeas and crispy fried onion. Garlic juice and hot sauce are optional additions), 'foul' (or 'ful medames', cooked fava beans served with oil, cumin and optional additions of parsley, garlic, onion, lemon juice and chili pepper) or 'falafel' (deep-fried patty made from ground fava beans served in a pita).

It was a wonderful experience to have this tour, look and feel the 5000yrs of history. My tour guide Nour is very experienced yet flexible at the same time to accommodate my needs. Try to put more time (at least 3-4hrs if possible) for the Giza pyramids, there are so many stuffs to see and you want to take those amazing pictures during sunset.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We had Mimo as our guide and he was amazing!!! This tour was more than worth it. We saw everything we wanted to and more in just two days. Mimo was very knowledgeable, kind and passionate! We loved how he wanted to share local Egyptian traditions and culture with us. Adel, our driver was very kind and got us to every location efficiently and safely. He was always right there waiting for us as we finished at each location! We couldn't be more thankful for this experience and wish we could have them with us for the rest of our trip!!

We had an amazing time on our tour with our guide Sherif! Everything you could want out of a vacation to Egypt was included in this tour. Sherif was incredibly knowledgeable on the rich history in Egypt. (Not to mention a professional at taking the perfect photos) Our driver was very experienced and we felt completely safe even with the hectic traffic of Cairo. We never had to worry about transportation to and from the sites and our hotel which removed a lot of the stress that normally comes with traveling in a foreign country. The tour also included stops at some great places for souvenirs including papyrus paintings, Egyptian perfume and amulets with your name written in hieroglyphs. Truly an unforgettable trip and would highly recommend!

10/10 Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to see the best of Cairo, Giza, Saqqara and Memphis with ease and great hospitality. We had the most amazing Egyptologist called Amir who was very responsive leading up to the tour, VERY knowledgable, well organised, seamless and genuinely great company to be with. Our driver Emam was also great and made getting around really easy and comfortable. Had a traditional Egyptian lunch which was also delicious at a nice location! For anyone who hasn’t been to Cairo before, this is the perfect experience to do!

If you want to visit Cairo and see all the attractions with a great guide, sign up for this trip! Michael was an excellent guide for our tour which visited all of the main attractions in Cairo. He was very knowledgeable about the history, archeology, and culture, providing details about every site we visited. He was able to use every moment of our tour so that we got the richest experience possible as we explored Cairo for two days and two nights! We could have taken individual tours of each site, but this was by far the best way to go if you want to see the sights efficiently so that you make the most of your time visiting the pyramids, riding a camel, visiting the markets, seeing the light show and taking a Nile dinner cruise, seeing Coptic Cairo, and so many more sights. Michael is very organized and is able to quickly access entry to sites and spends the time with you to fully explain what you are seeing. It was a wonderful, action packed two days and nights with an excellent driver who got us safely from place to place. I would definitely take this tour again when I return, and recommend it highly if you want the full experience of Cairo!

Its always been a dream of mine to visit Egypt so this year I finally was able to go and spend my birthday there. There were many tour options but I ended up choosing this one due to the great amount of sights to see in 2 days and it ended up being the best decision ever. Gouda (Mohammad) was our guide. I don't know how I was lucky enough to get THE best guide in all of Cairo but I did. All the tour guides we ran into shared that he trained them and showed them eveything they knew. He also always made us feel as if we were 10 steps ahead of all the other tourists. For example, the restaurants we ate at were never packed with tourists, the order in which we viewed the sites was in correspondence with how busy they would be throughout the day and even down to the dinner cruise where he made sure we had the best table and told us when to jump in line for the buffet before everyone crushed into line. And that's not even the best part. Gouda made my birthday even more special by planning a surprise for me on the dinner cruise. It was the most happiest Ive ever been and THE best birthday I've ever had. I still can't believe something so awesome was done for me in Egypt. Overall the trip was AMAZING. My mother and I enjoyed hearing in depth knowledge ancient Egypt. He even tested some of my own knowledge so I had to pay attention and remember the notes from my Egypt books over the years. 😅 Our driver was excellent as well and maneuvered the chaotic streets of Cairo with a breeze. Honestly there's so many accolades I could give to Gouda but there isn't enough time and space to type it all but thank you SO MUCH for such an awesome experience in Cairo and for making my birthday the best it's ever been.

Amazing 2 day tour of all the essential sights of Cairo with a brilliant guide who made it extra special. Hard to find one highlight, though climbing down to the middle of a pyramid was something I’ll never forget. Thanks to our guide Amal Ammar and the tour company Pyramids Land.
