For those with limited time, a 2-Day tour in the Zagora desert is ideal. After exploring the region of Ouarzazate and beautiful Kasbah, you will make your first steps in the Moroccan desert after crossing the wonderful Draa Valley. Enjoy a camel trek which is comparable to those of blue men. Take in the Sahara with its extraordinary landscapes and exceptional sunsets. Meet your driver at your hotel at 7am or on the nearest parking area close to Riad. Depart from Marrakesh by pass of Tizi nTichka and the berber villages at the mountains. You will make many stops to admire the villages and valleys at the top of the pass at nearly 2260m.
A few kilometers before Ouarzazate, you will stop to visit, on your own, Kasbah of At Benhaddou which dates from 11th century. After your visit, pass the moon country until Dra Valley with its magnificent greenery and arrive at Zagora and take a camel ride (about 2 hours). Enjoy the sunset, have dinner in the dunes and stay the night in a Bivouac at door of the desert.
Day 2 : Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Wake up to the sunrise in the dunes and journey on another camel ride before returning your vehicle. You will follow Ouarzazate direction along the wadi Dra. Visit on your on, the famous Kasbah Taourirt, former residence of the Pasha El Glaoui. After lunch, you will return to Marrakech by the pass of Tizi n'Tichka and make numerous stops along the way. Arrive about 6pm.
