Day 1: On the first day of this tour, you will travel along the South Coast, first paying a visit to the beloved waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Whilst the latter is much wider, creating a large cloud of mist at its base, Seljalandsfoss is narrow, boasting a cave behind the tumbling water. You will also be paying a visit to Reynisfjara black sand beach before finishing at your final stop of the day, the stunning ç glacial lagoon. At this site, you will have the chance to see a whole host of icebergs floating peacefully on the lagoon’s surface, gently making their way out toward the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 2: Your second day will see you heading back to the capital, Reykjavik, making a number of exciting stops on the way should conditions seem fitting. That’s not before enjoying a spot of ice caving under Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull, first, however. Equipped with crampons, a helmet and a headlight, you will descend into this fantastical blue world, surrounded on all sides by thousand-year-old ice.
