Day 1: Xian (L)
In the morning, our driver and English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Xi'an and starts the tour with the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum known as the Eighth Wonders of the World. The museum is located approximately 30 km east from Xi'an downtown and shows an amazingly high level in sculpture. Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum was originally found by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974, but now is considered the most important attraction in Xi'an.

After lunch continue to visit the Xi'an Ancient City Wall, the most complete preserved and the largest existing city wall in China. It was originally built in the Ming Dynasty for military defense and now becomes an important tourist attraction in Xi'an. Afterwards your guide and driver will transfer you to the Muslim quarter, a charming area buzzing with various exotic food stalls, souvenir shops and diverse visitors. Then, leave for Mount Huashan. Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel at the foot of the mountain. You can choose your preferable cuisine or restaurants for dinner at your own expense. Your guide can always provide restaurant recommendations.

Day 2: Mount Huashan - Xian

In the morning, visit the Mt Huashan, and take a cable car to the North Peak of the mountain. Your guide will provide detailed information in advance and you will start your adventure from the North Peak. Put the golden lock on the iron chains on the Gold Lock Pass which is believed to bring you safety and health.

On the Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak), enjoy its supernatural atmosphere and beautiful sunset. Then you will move forward to the East Peak and the South peak and last come to the West Peak. Also enjoy the fresh air on Mount Huashan. Our tour guide will meet you at the North Peak and take the cable car to the foot of the mountain together. We had an absolutely fantastic time in Xi'an and it wouldn’t have been the same without our guide Wendy. She was extremely helpful and attentive and went out of her way to make sure everyone was well looked after – she even came to the airport and picked us up which was really unexpected. Our group consisted of 18 boisterous men and one lady, but this didn’t affect her at all. She was very professional…even when some of the guys hopped on to the bus very hungover from a heavy drinking session the night before. Without your Wendy’s help we wouldn’t have understood the history behind the Terracotta Warriors or what we were looking at when we got there. The commentary she gave the whole time she was with us was excellent! Although when we went to Mt Huashan it was heavily fogged over, this trip was one of the highlights of all the time I have spent in China – I’m not sure why more westerners don’t go there. You need to be quite fit to make it all the way to the top, but even without the amazing views it was an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend that you ask for an early collection (i.e. 6am) so that crowds and long waits for tickets can be avoided (people start to queue for tickets at 5.30am). It would be a world class destination on the right day – even if you only go up and down the chairlift! I have travelled a lot in China over a period of 20 years and it’s great to see the country is finally opening itself to tourism. The emails and communication from your this agency were fantastic and everything was easy to transact. We would definitely recommend their services…we had an absolute blast 

Liu (Nobel) was our Guide - he was fantastic - he had us for 2 days - Day 1 Terracotta Warriors and day 2 Mt Huashan. He was a excellent tour guide and spoke great English. He gave us loads of information and it was great having him escort us on the Mt Huashan Hike. He always had water in the vehicle for us and even bought some buns to share on the hike. He notified us the day before that the weather was not great for the hike and offered to swap the days around so we could get the most of our time in Xi an. The driver we had was also great. Booking through Chinaxiantour was easy and they kept communicating with us to ensure we had exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this company and guide.

I visited HuaShan and the Terracotta warriors in January with ChinaXianTour. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend going to Xian in the Winter since there were NO line-ups anywhere. My tour guide told me the wait is 2 hours or more in the summer for many attractions and the crowds are huge. Huashan was excellent but be warned their are A LOT of stairs to climb. The views however are fantastic. My guide for 2 days was Noble. He called me the night before to confirm everything which helped put my mind at ease. Overall, Noble did a great job. He is knowledgeable about all the attractions and his English is good. Sophia, who help book the trip, was also excellent and super fast in providing tour details, pricing and all communications. Overall, ChinaXianTours did a great job!

Great tour til I was dropped at hotel and my guide effectively demanded a tip for the driver. She also expected a tip. Not aware tips were a REQUIREMENT. Don and #39;t recall seeing anything on website when booked. As a single traveller I and #39;d paid a lot for trip and this ruined what had been a fab trip.
