The cost has i erased over my previous year. Advertise, the Big Five, but no mention or sighting of leapRd, no rhino and elephants hidden by trees One single lion on show. I you are a SouthbArican, you get a three hundred rand discounted. What about all the International gusts who have kept it going for years?

This is more like a zoo but on a much larger footprint. One lonesome male lion in an enclosure - “waiting for two lionesses to join him” they better hurry up or this guy will die of boredom. One lonely hippo in a pond - “the other one was in a different pond today” our driver informed us. A few elephants wandering around - where do they come from we asked? Expecting our driver to say the Kruger or some such place. Knysna Elephant park he says. Well, at least they’re no longer performing for tourists. The highlight was probably the two rhino. Some blue wildebeest, a few Cape Buffalo, the usual impala. The cost for exactly two hours - trust me could not have been more accurate on his return time of 17:00 - was about £44 per person. Terrible value for money. You would Be better of and less depressed staying home and watching a David Attenborough series.

This was hands down the worst birthday I had. A no show by game driver, owner wanted us to cancel and ask for our money back!!! After 2 hours arguing with staff, we got a 80% refund. Shocking!!

This was the first safari i have ever been on and i couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Our guide was great and very informative. The 2 hours seemed to fly by as we went by all the animals. Definitely check this place out!!

I genuinely was not expecting much in 2 hours and how wrong I was. We were taken on an informative journey across some of the 200 hectares and able to view, up close, happy and healthy looking animals. We saw elephant...to lions....to Emu and giraffes with great commentary from our guide. The scenery alone is breath-taking...let along seeing so many animals up close.

I would not recommend the game drive - this place is a Zoo!! Lions in a small cage (watch Blood Lion to get educated on this). Crocodiles in a small pen. They have Fellow Deer - which do not belong in Africa. The Wildebeest have been genetically bred so they are tanned (which means they get a better price for hunting). The game driver would not stop for birds - saw a Kori Bustard asked them to stop as it is a pretty cool bird to see, he kept racing along to the lone Hippo, in a small half full swimming aka Dam. If you want to go on a game drive and in the area - rather take the time out and go to Addo (you may not see anything), but it is so much more rewarding when you see animals in their natural habitat! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ZOO!

My husband and I visited the game reserve in January 2020. From booking in to checking out, our experience was awesome. Heike, Patrick, Nunu and the other ladies were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, rooms clean and the views was to die for. We saw all the animals on our game drive. Definitely a place to go to. Thanks Justine and John
