What an amazing day! Our tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable and attentive. We left early enough so it wasn’t too hot, saw amazing animals on our hike, and learned some interesting facts. We were served fresh fruit after the hanging bridges. We then went on to the waterfall. Our guide was absolutely correct about the expectations. We enjoyed the swim and the stairs were no joke. The best part was the lunch. They took us to the home of a family who made us a delicious authentic lunch. We talked while we watched the birds eat from som plantains they laid out. After the lunch our guide brought us to a tree where he spotted a mother sloth and her baby. Life goals met! I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was the best one on an already amazing trip.

Julio was an amazing guide, so nice & knowledgeable! We met a family of 4 from California who were so wonderful to explore with. We loved the hanging bridges and the waterfall so much! I had hurt my knee & my daughter had a swollen ankle, but we had no problem with the hike or 500 steps up & down; we just took it slow. 🥰 Lunch was sooo delicious. Julio took videos of the spider monkey & toucans from his telescope for us, & Johan stopped on the way back bc he saw a sloth in a low tree. We saw a mama & a baby having a snack!! ❤️

Julio was a wonderful guide for our group through hanging bridges and the waterfall. He kept our teens engaged and found many interesting animals for us to see. He told us stories of plants and the ecosystem. We liked the fruit break after the tour. I really loved the waterfall in the 2nd part. It’s so powerful and beautiful there. He was patient with our whole family as we made the long climb back up the stairs. The Casado afterwards was one of the best we had in Costa Rica. We enjoyed the leisurely lunch and nice setting by the water.

Jason was an incredible guide. We would have never noticed all the things he pointed out if we went through the trail alone. We also were shown a sloth on the road-solids jungle area. Thank you!

Our guide was so knowledgeable about all of the plants and animals observed during out hike. It was incredible how the tiniest details were noticed where we would have walked right past them. The waterfall was super cool - make sure you bring water shoes! And they cap the day off with an amazing lunch.

Such a fun experience with wonderful guides! Our guide was so knowledgeable and great with our group of children and adults. The waterfall was beautiful but lotsssss of steps. Then the lunch of authentic homemade Costa Rican food was amazing!!!

Tony and team were fantastic. I’d recommend this tour to anyone. High adventure and expertise from the guides. Great local lunch. You don’t need hiking shoes but I was glad I had them. We had a big party and they divided us up to get a more intimate experience seeing frogs, vipers, sloths and monkeys. Well done. Gorgeous views. You need water shoes at waterfall! Be prepared for big hike back up stairs. Hard but worth it!!

We saw lots of animals and the tour guides (Alonso and David) were great and super friendly. It was very interesting to learn about all the wildlife here. Walking down to the waterfall is 500 steps which was easy, but definitely tiring on the way back up. It's worth it though because the waterfall is beautiful and it’s very refreshing to swim there. If you are someone who's afraid of heights, then maybe don't do the hanging bridges part of the tour, because the bridges do sway a fair amount. They gave us fruit for a snack between and lunch afterwards was great. This tour gives you a little bit of everything, which is perfect for first-time costa rica travelers.

We loved this excursion! Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly, we also met two other lovely couples. The park was so beautiful and we learned a lot. Our guide was patient and took time to answer our questions. The views of Arenal volcano were stunning. After the park tour we had a snack of fresh pineapple, watermelon and water waiting for us. From there we went to the La Fortuna Waterfall and cooled off in the beautiful clear as glass water. (Note: you will feel the climb back up those stairs!). We ended the trip with a delicious Casado lunch and ice cream for dessert. We ate in an open air dining area and had it all to ourselves. It was so relaxing and the grounds were beautiful. Before we left we were given an amazing surprise, a sloth sleeping low in a tree right in their back yard! It was at eye level which is as close as we ever got to a sloth. I highly recommend this tour.

Oscar was an amazing tour guide who knew everything about the wildlife in Mistico. He spent time explaining the species and offered lots of knowledge. The hanging bridges, waterfall, and food were all incredible.
