We recently went on a tour with Abyss - 19 days Rajastan. Our tour guide was Vegindra (VG). It was an extremely well organised and planned trip.VG was very accommodating, and helped with everything. He was knowledgeable, and highly intelligent person. He gave great insight into everyday life in india. The tour was well planned, and support from both the bus driver and his helper was great. I would recommend travelling with Abyss anytime.

Went with Abyss through Webjet in Australia. Fantastic tour. Not for the faint hearted however. Travelled around 4,000 Klms and saw so much. Hotel accomodation was mostly very good. Raddison in Udaipur was a bit ordinary. Toilets on travels are very dirty compared to what we are use too. Stuck with eating mainly vegetarian Indian food. No Delhi belly for us. However did take probiotics the whole time and of course, bottled water only. Would highly recommend this holiday if you are reasonably fit and can handle the heat.

Old Delhi, Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodpur, Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra and New Delhi. Good small tour group. Escort was patient, knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble. Local guides could be a bit arrogant but on the whole good. Bus was comfortable and toilet stops were frequent enough. Hotels were good and some quite unique. Personally I never got sick of eating Indian. Not a tour for shopaholics or for those who mostly want to do their own thing. So many sights and so much culture! From the camel safari to the living Fort in Jaisalmer, palaces on lakes, beautiful havelies, palaces and the assault of the senses of Old Dehi, there is something for everyone. I would do it again tomorrow!

I have dreamt of visting Rajasthan since a lass. The tour was awe-inspiring. No hicups thanks to our tour escort Vijender Sharma, he made sure all our needs, wants, meeting our aims and making us feel secure. . Vijender went over & above his role to do so. The roads in Rajasthan aren"t for the faint-hearted. Our bus driver Sonu, a master at navigating the chaos on the roads, got us to our destination in a safe and timely manner.. The highlight for me was Puskhar, never even heard about it until the tour. A town that is back to basics situated amougst the hills. I WISH we had more time in Puskar to wonder. I highly recommend this tour, to any who dreams of epic an culture, opulence and back to basics all in one.

This was our first visit to India. Mr Abid Zargar and his team were really fantastic. We LOVED THIS TOUR AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT for travelers who want to learn about everyday life in India, in addition to visiting the awesome tourist attractions. In particular, Me Zargar was so responsive to us, and made us feel so SECURE throughout our tour. He made himself available and responsive to any questions we had before and during the tour. Upon arrival, he even provided us with a SIM card so we could communicate with him anytime! And a yummy Masala tea. The tours in each city were fantastic, with local, knowledgeable guides. Our driver was excellent and super friendly. In short, we heartily recommend this tour for anyone planning to discover India. We felt so comfortable throughout, never felt unsafe in our entire trip. The hotels were fairly good and comfortable, but our only recommendation is, if you prefer “nice” hotels, talk to Abid early on and you can upgrade to better hotels with some additional cost. Happy travels!!

The trip for the north of India was just blow minds, is a drem come true!!!!!. I always wanted to go to the India, i believe that to see temples, ruins, forts, fortress and walls is maybe the best country in the world (the great wall of China must be stunning too). The tour of 20 days not was just the Rajasthan, was also the Golden Triangle and Varanasi too, and all the itinerary was organized so that each place was more impressive than the previous place!!!!. The hotels are very beautiful, comfortable and clean, and the people who work in them are very friendly and always very helpful. I believe in Mandawa we sleep in the best hotel in town (an impressive haveli!!), and in Bikaner too. Sanjay (our guide) is a great one, the dude!!!!; he always supported us each time that we complicate the itinerary for stay too much long in a temple or in a fort, hahahahaha!!!!; and the man is a funny guy too!!!. Finally, i want to show my gratitude to Abid Zargar and all the people of the Hotel Rajputana Haveli in Jaipur for taking care of me when i was sick because of my mistake (i drink the water in Jodhpur and Udaipur, oh yeah!!). Whatever, i was cured in only 30 hours or something because they treated me like i was their family, to all of them my eternal gratitude!!!!!!. So, this is all, i never forget this incredible, strange and unique country, and all his people and his stunning places (the Taj Mahal, the Ganges River, the Amber Fort, the Rats Temple, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, New Delhi, the camp in the desert and a very long etcetera!!!!!!!!). Good bye to all, i hope to coming back someday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

In September 2017 me and my 18-year old doughter spent three weeks in India. At first we wanted to travel on our own, but after a discussion with Mr. Abid Zargar, the managing director of Abyss Tours, we decided that he organises the trip for us. Everything was perfect, hotels were good. We had our own car, air-conditioned and almost new but the most important was the driver - excellent and reliable. With him the trip aroud Radjastan was a fairy tale, we felt safe, he was always on time and the car was always sparkling clean. We saw many wonderful cities, spent two days in a dessert, saw Agra and Taj Mahal. At the end we also visited Varanasi for a few days. Mr. Abid called us from time to time to check how we feel, if everything goes fine etc. which is in my opinion a very professional gesture. We really did have a good feeling. The only thing that I would change in my trip is two or three days stay in a village to be in peace while cities in India are very populated and big. Despite that and thanks to the excellent organisation, we were able to explore a part of this wonderful country and have beautiluf memories. Abyss Tours - deeaply recommend. 20 days - Rajasthan and Paradish tour.
We were met at Delhi international airport by Abyss representative as planned, escorted to the private car, driven straight to hotel in Khampur Raya, Delhi Every thing was professionally organised. Mr Tanweer a second representative from Abyss was already in the hotel lobby to welcome us and carry on with the check in process, in few minutes,we were relaxing in our room for an hour or so before being escorted again to the nearby Abyss office. Inter City hotel is a modest hotel in the densely populated district of Khampur, however, the room was far above basic, spacious and comfortable enough for one night before starting our long Rajasthan tour.
Upon arriving to the Abyss office, we were greeted again with cold drinks, and briefed by Mr Abid with full details about our tour inclusions, exclusions ,and what to expect. .etc..
Mr Abid briefing was comprehensive and extremely useful. Our only concern was about the weather! Temperature was already approaching the 40sC, and expected to even exceed that in Rajasthan. Mr Abid was more understanding of that issue, he proposed to compress the tour to 15 days so we can cool down in Kashmir for 5 days in a house boat at the foot of Hamalay mountains! at some extra costs just to cover the flights to Srinagar . We didn't hesitate to accept his suggestion, as the costs were quiet resonable and providing a great opportunity to visit that beautiful seinic state of Kashmir.
The tour was just brilliant and full of excitements. Starting with Delhi day 1, followed by long drive to Pushkar , Udaipur , Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra, then night train to Vernassi, where we were met at the station with another driver, to look after us for 2 nights until we were dropped at the airport to fly to Srinagar via Delhi, to cool down and conclude our North India tour.
The tour is mostly educational. It provides massive knowledge of the Indian heritage and culture. It is not as exhausting as it sounds. There was always enough time to rest and relax by the pool in most of the assigned hotels. I would highly recommend to discuss the assigned hotels before starting the tour, upgrades are always possible and quiet affordable. The Abyss representatives were in a daily basis follow up with us to instantly sort out any hickups we encounter. I wouldn't recommend the night train from Agra to Varanasi the sevice and equally the trains are unreliable and very exhausting .
The car and the driver were avaliable at our disposal for the whole tour. We were complemented with bottles of cold water every day. Mr Sang the driver, was always offering to take us to nice restaurants for lunches or dinners local or international as we opt.
It was a nice touch from the Company to offer to store our luggage at their premises during the tour time, it was a real bless to move around with just two pieces of hand luggage 6 different hotels, 3 domestic flights, and sleeper train
All in all, the tour was excellent for its accuracy and organisation. I have no hesitation to recommend for all those who are interested in a real taste of the Indian heritage, history, and architecture. I deeply appreciate all the efforts of Abyss tours to bring this tour up to this standard of professionalism and to give us such great memorable time. A very special thanks to the Mr Abid the company director.
