Le parcours de randonnée était bien sympathique, nous avons vu de beaux paysages, fait environ 47 kilomètre pour 2700 m de dénivelé positif. Merci à Mohamed, le cuisinier et sa mule pour nous avoir accompagnés.

My partner and I have just finished the 3 day tour and had a wonderful time. Our guide: Lahcen was FANTASTIC. He was constantly looking after us at every point. For example, he was patient with us when we needed to take a break, he would explain where we were going and all about Berber culture and offered us his snacks when we ran out. He also took us to his aunts house for tea and bread, which was lovely, as well as lots of other Berber houses for more tea. Thank you so much for making this an incredible experience. Food: When we stopped for lunch each day, either at the top of a tizi or in the shade under some trees, Mohammed was already there cooking us up a feast. The food is simple but good. It starts with tea, then each lunchtime we had a salad of local vegetables, tinned sardines and either rice or pasta, as well as something hot cooked in the tagine pot and bread. Dinner was a traditional soup and bread followed by a hot dinner (again something in the tagine pot!) and then fruit for desert. My partner and I eat a lot and there was definitely enough to go around. We will eat most things but I’m sure if you were picky then they could easily accommodate as everything is cooked fresh. And of course… tea! Accomodation: It must be noted that the accommodation, for western standards, is very basic. However, you come for the authentic experience, to stay in a Berber guest house and this is what you get. Lahcen was very attentive and offered us extra blankets for example (note: it does get cold at night in the mountains). There are western toilets in the accommodation, however dont expect this on your walks. I would also recommend bringing hand sanitiser. All the toilets and showers are shared, although we had a private room. The hike: the route is incredibly scenic and beautiful, albeit challenging. my partner and I are 29, both consider ourselves relatively fit and we found second day hard. Time for a massage and hamman to cure the achy legs. Overall we had a fantastic authentic experience - Lahcen and Mohammed really made it for us and this 5 stars is for you. Thank you both!

Marwan was an amazing guide and looked after us very well, with good cooking and interesting local information we thoroughly enjoyed this 3 day hike.

The whole hike was amazing! The views we had were stunning and made me forget about how tired my legs sometimes were. Our guide Mohammed and Abdul (caretaker of mule Aïda) were both really friendly altough sometimes a bit hard to understand. Mohammed even invited us in his house were we had a Morrocan Tea. Next to that did we had the joy of having a really fun group of people joining us. All together, me and my brother, really liked it and would do it again if we had the chance.

Unfortunately, being ripped off by the tour operator & Viator will be the most vivid memories. Beautiful country - shame we were prevented from doing the full tour.

The 3 best days of our trip in Morocco. It was an amazing experience. Our guide Marwan was really friendly and attentive to our needs. The hiking was sometimes difficult but he knew how to motivate us and when we needed breaks. The landscapes were breathtaking, we learnt a lot about Amazigh culture. Thanks to Said, we also had amazing food on the way. Thanks again to Marwan and Said for this incredible experience.

It was a fantastic and unique experience. Whoever wants to spend a few days in a special and very accomodating setting and get out of busy Marrakech to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful altas valley and learn something about berber culture in an intimate and non mass touristic way should definitely book this tour. Our guide Rdouane was an amazing guy who did an outstanding job and took great care of our safety and well-being, sharing a lot about his culture. We are thankful that we got to know him and wish him all the best for his future. He is a passionate guide and I am sure a lot of other people will be as happy with him as we were. Special shout-out also to Saïd, who always cooked delicious, unusual and big meals and with whom, thanks to his kind and caring nature, we spent a great time together. We also wish him all the best and hope he will continue to make as many people with his food happy as he did us. The tour is no easy hike and you should have the appropriate equipment and mind set to do it, if you push through the challenge however, you will be rewarded with one of the best experiences one can make in Morocco

This trip was fabulous! Our guide Zin was very kind. He knew the mountains very well and answered all of our questions. Great simple food cooked by Harams Mohamid who walked with his mule the same way to cook in the mountains for us. The accomondations are simple but you get the real feeling of how you live in these villages. You do lots of up and down walking and have great conversations. We absolutely recommend it and thanks to Zin who made this trip unforgettable.

This was such an amazing experience, it has definitely become one of those trips I would recommend to anyone who is up for a challenge and looking for a way to immerse themselves in a different culture. It ended up being just my partner and I with our guide Ali, who was entertaining, informative and went out of his way to ensure we were experiencing as much as possible, felt comfortable and were well fed. Our mule guide Hassan was also amazing and a great cook! So I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to rate this trip 5 stars!!! Highlights: We drank orange juice with goats on a mountain over 2000m high. Got chased by bees down the mountain it was hilarious Mule carried me on the last day due to womanly cramps. Our guide took us through a valley instead of the usual tourist route and it was unbelievably beautiful.
