We had an amazing experience with East African Jungle Safaris. We booked a gorilla and chimpanzee trekking tour. Everything was well organized and our guide, Gerald, did great work. Gerald made sure we had the best experience and was a knowledgeable guide. We would book again with this company.

I didn't book my gorilla permit early enough. Other travel agencies just offered me other dates, while African Jungle Safaris went above and beyond to get me the permit for the specific date I wanted. Communication was great as they always responded to my inquiries with as much details as needed, the same day they received my emails. The service was beyond expectations: the driver couldn't be more accommodating, helpful, patient and friendly. One of those who answered your questions and had a friendly chat when the guest felt like it, and who could leave you to your thoughts when you needed silence: just perfect, especially for a female solo-traveler. The lodge was amazing, great service, sparkling clean, very good food, accommodation in a beautiful and quiet setting. The tracking went very good and I was lucky to see al the gorilla family members together, after 90 minutes hike. They were kind enough to drop me off at a more convenient place than the one agreed upon before arrival, which saved me a lot of hassles with public transport. The agent I booked through, Fred, has always been extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend him and the company, if you want your experience to be hassle free while you are still in control of all details.

First of all we would like to thank Ronald for the most wonderful trip! We arrived in Kigali where we were picked up before driving to Bwindi for our first nights stay. The drive was beautiful and the lodge -Rushaga Gorilla Havens- was outstanding! The views were incredible and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The next day we drove 20 minutes to start our Trek to see the gorillas. And what an amazing experience it was! The organisation was extremely professional and the guides were very knowledgeable. You can tell they are also very passionate about what they do! Ronald then took us on a great drive to Lake Bunyonyi. We had a fantastic canoe ride along the river just before sunset. Next, a long but a beautiful drive to Queen Elizabeth Park. The Bush Lodge was outstanding. The staff was very friendly, the accommodation amazing and the food was the best we had! We took a boat ride along the river to see the hippos which were incredible. Our guide was great at pointing out all the birds! Which were great. We saw a crocodile too! Day 3 of our adventure took us to the chimpanzee trekking about 40 minutes from the lodge. We spent 4 ours in the forest tracking the chimps! It was so much fun and we were lucky enough to see a whole family- babies included. We were so impressed with the trip- the agenda, our amazing guide Ronald, the lodges and the food. We can’t thank you enough for truly making our holiday special! We didn’t want to leave. Until next time!

I’ve always wanted to do this since my first time in East Africa on 2/2016. Now that I decided to go back, I can’t miss it! Contacted Fred from East African Jungle Safaris and I’m so glad I did! Fred was more than helpful in organizing this trip with a friend. He was quick to answering my questions via text messages and emails. Everything went well as planned without a single glitch! Price was reasonable and accommodations were good. Our driver and guide, Godwin, was amazing. He took very good care of us the entire time. The gorilla tracking experience was an adventure of a lifetime! It was so surreal seeing eye to eye with these lovely endangered creatures. Our mountain guides/rangers were great. They made sure we had a wonderful and unforgettable experience. East African Jungle Safaris didn’t disappoint. It exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend this company and I can’t be grateful enough to it’s owner, Fred! Many, many thanks once again!

I absolutely loved the 3days Gorilla Trekking trip in Bwindi National Park and highly recommend East African Jungle Safaris if you want to live this one life-time experience, but not only ; this agency can organize and customize your trip in Uganda!! They are really professional and ensure you are satisfied at all times. Fred , the owner, has been dedicated and proposed a great planning for a such short trip - beyond my expectations since he was able to include activities like canoe on the Lake Bunyonyi that were not even asked by me , so thank you Fred for giving me the chance to visit this beautiful place!!!! The driver , Samuel, spoke very good English and has an excellent knowledge not just about the Gorillas but also about local history, culture and he is very passionate and professional. Fred and Samuel made my trip a memorable experience and planning to go back to explore more this beautiful and incredible country!!! I will definitely book with them again! So don’t hesitate to contact them , you won’t regret it !! They know what customer service means !! Laetitia

We booked a 3-day trip with the East African Jungle Safaris to go track the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The driver (Ronald) picked us up from our hotel in Kigali on time and everything went smoothly from there. Ronald was very professional and funny and we had a blast throughout our trip with him. The gorillas were truly amazing, the locations we stayed at as part of the package (Gorilla Safari Lodge in Bwindi and Birdnest on Lake Bunyonyi) were outstanding and the food tasted great everywhere we stayed or stopped. Next time I am in Uganda I will definitely use this tour company for any nature adventure trip.

Great experience and highly recommended. The king of Arica, Ronald, will make sure you reach the heaven and back. If youlike it a lot, you may just stay there adopted by the mama gorilla. :). Great selection of lodges, good food, good car for moving around and you'll hear great stories from the driver/guide. All in one, I would use them again for any other adventure they offer. Cheers!

from many points of view. I work in a place where there is a lot of constrains in communication, internet access, electronic banking... With all those obstacles Fred made this trip possible for me. His personalized approach is rare to find nowadays. Eddie who drove me to Bwindi is an excellent driver even during the stormy weather, so the lengthy drive from Kampala was bearable :) I stayed at lovely Broadbill Forest Camp with super friendly staff (and plenty of hot water!). I recommend that place as well. Gorillas presented themselves as expected, and Jenny the guide has done her best to lead us without unnecessary hikes up and down the mountain while they were on the move. All in all as in the title - an amazing experience! If I will plan any more tours in this part of the world - East African Jungle Safaris, will be my tour operator to go to.

I am a young budget traveller and I am so glad I went ahead with booking the gorilla tracking with East African jungle safaris! After doing my research they had the cheapest price by a few hundred USD and made the whole experience easy and stress free. the lodges and food were amazing and the guide 'Ronald' made the whole trip a laugh..
