Day 1: Lisbon – Caceres – Madrid
In the early morning, leave central Lisbon by air-conditioned coach to travel east to Spain. Sit back and relax as your guide explains the exciting itinerary for your 3-night tour. After roughly 3.5 hours on the road, arrive in Caceres in the region of Extremadura: your first stop of the day.

Walk through its Plaza Mayor and the Old Town with its famous Medieval Quarter. Return to your coach at the prearranged time and resume your journey, traveling north to Madrid. Check in to your Madrid hotel in the late afternoon, and then spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Overnight: Tourist Class : Mayorazgo o Florida Norte and First Class : Courtyard Marriot Madrid Princesa o Catalonia Gran Via

Day 2: Madrid (B)
Enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and set off on a 2.5-hour sightseeing tour of the Spanish capital. From the comfort of your air-conditioned coach, get acquainted with the city and see several of its top attractions and sights. Swing past Puerta del Sol, seeing the fountains of Neptune and Cibeles as well as the impressive Alcala Gate (Puerta de Alcalá). Learn about the different Madrid neighborhoods from your onboard guide, and travel through bustling districts such as Castellana and Barrio de la Moreria. Other highlights include the sweeping street of Paseo de la Castellana and the world-famous Prado Museum.

Finish your tour in the center of town and make a quick stop at the Hard Rock Café for a free drink, and then enjoy a full afternoon and evening of free time. Scout out a tapas bar to eat lunch like the Madrileños, and perhaps spend some time sightseeing independently by foot. Look out for the Royal Palace (Palacio Real), and see the sights around the charismatic Old Town, known locally as ‘Habsburg’s Madrid.’

Day 3: Madrid – Toledo – Madrid (B)
After breakfast, travel to the ancient city of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage site that lies roughly an hour away. The former capital of Spain, Toledo is often cited as the country’s spiritual capital and is home to countless religious monuments and historical landmarks. Learn about the city on a 1.5-hour tour by both foot and coach, and see a collection of top Toledo attractions, too. Highlights include photo stops outside the Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue and San Juan de los Reyes Monastery.

When your sightseeing tour finishes, make the most of some free time to find a restaurant for lunch, and perhaps explore independently or shop for souvenirs to take home. Return to Madrid in the afternoon, and then spend the evening doing whatever you please.
