Day 1: Brighton to Paris

Stop At: Eiffel Tower, Paris, Ile-de-France
Located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most well known structures in the world.
It is named after Gustave Eiffel, whose company was in charge of the project.
The Eiffel Tower is 320 metres (1050 feet) in height.
The Eiffel Tower is made of iron and weighs around 10000 tonnes.
Eiffel Tower has had over 250 million visitors since its opening.
Visitors can climb up stairs to the first two levels or take a lift which also has access to the third and highest level.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, Paris, Ile-de-France
As one of the most well-known church buildings in the world, Notre Dame de Paris was the home of many of Frances historical events such as the coronation of Napoleon and Josephine and the canonization of Joan of Arc. It is the finest example of French Gothic architecture and houses some of Catholicisms most important relics such as Crown of Thorns and one of the Holy Nails.

Pass By: Louvre Museum, Paris, Ile-de-France
The Louvre Museum or The Louvre is one of the largest museums in the world as well as a historical monument. This central Paris landmark has some 35,000 objects over 60,600 square meters. It is so large, in fact, that seeing every object
only a few seconds would take you 3 months. Of course, the main exhibits are daVincis Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, as well as works from Italian masters such as Raphael and Michelangelo among others. This is a must see for any aspiring artist and students across all key stages.

Pass By: Champs-Elysees, Paris, Ile-de-France
Arguably one of the worlds most famous streets, the Avenue des Champs lyses was originally fields and market gardens until 1616 when it was transformed into an avenue of trees under the wishes of the French Queen Marie de Medici. Today, its streets are lined with luxurious shops and plenty of cafes and bistros.

Pass By: Arc de Triomphe, Paris, Ile-de-France
The Arc de Triomphe de ltoile is located at the western end of the Champs- lyses. It honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. Beneath its vault is The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. The monument stands 50 metres tall and the top can be accessed by visitors.

Pass By: Place de la Concorde, Paris, Ile-de-France
Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris and historically significant in the city. It is here that the guillotine stood during the French Revolution and many historical French figures met their fate including Queen Marie Antoinette, King Louis XVI and others.
