We had the best 4 day tour with Rabbies! Special thanks to Andy, who was an amazing guide. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgable, an excellent driver, and a great storyteller. Much respect to all of the details and hard work involved -- our group had people from several countries and all age groups, and everyone got along and had a great time. Being able to manage different personalities, the logistics and pace of a 4 day tour, and keep everyone engaged and happy is not easy! Every stop was breathtaking and there was so much variety - castles, glens, boats, islands, cows, sheep, views, kelpies, trains, churches, mountains, and whiskey. He also gave us plenty of time to shop, enjoy coffee, and take restroom breaks,. The accommodations booked for us were in great locations and very pleasant. We've been traveling Europe extensively this year this was the most memorable experience we've had. Highly recommended. - Larry and Ashley

A great tour with a knowledgable & entertaining driver ( Steffan) who took us to some lovely "off the beaten track" places. B&B accomodation good and a small group meant we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this way of seeing Scotland

This tour was beyond expectations and almost impossible to describe! My sister and I took months to plan a "sister trip" to Scotland, and our original intention was to rent a car in Glasgow and drive thru the Highlands and Skye etc. In planning, we found this tour to be a good value (compared to driving). If you are thinking you might drive please consider these important realities: if you are unfamiliar with left-traffic and right-hand driven cars, think twice. Also, road signs are different (more accurately, everything is different). And, in many places (Skye, for example) roads are one-lane/2-way winding roads which requires careful attention. Fuel/petrol stations can be harder to find (...not to mention rest rooms). And, if you plan to rely on google maps, the internet coverage can be sketchy in remote areas (to say the least). Get the picture? All this to say- if you want have a stress free experience and really enjoy the breathtaking views and magial sights throughout the Highlands and islands, I highly recommend this tour. Let an expert manage the details, and the driving and you will enjoy every minute. Our guide, Graeme, was extraordinary! From the minute we met he was PERFECT! He was helpful and informative, fun and patient. From our departure in Edinburgh throughout the entire tour he wove stories, history, fun-facts and even some silly music into our experience. A true professional, Graeme provided a great balance of narration, music and quiet. And he gave us some "bonus stops" that only a skilled guide would know. On a practical note, Graeme was sensitive to the groups need for "comfort stops" (aka bathroom breaks) and he seemed to know every 'pit-stop' along the way. He broke the drive up with photo-opps and breaks so we never felt like we were in the van too long. His driving made us feel safe, always, and the "pace" of the trip was ideal. The smaller "bus"/ van was perfect, too. Smaller group, plus it was easier to go to off-the-beaten-path stops. Graeme always gave us enough time at important stops and he clearly communicated expectations (i.e. what time to be back on the bus). From the mythical, incredible Kelpies to the Old Man of Storr and everything between, it was pure magic. The lodging that Rabbie's arranged was great, too. Another huge plus (vs planning on our own) was that Rabbies made all of the accommodation bookings. We were particularly pleased with the wonderful B&B in Loch Alsh (our hosts made us feel like royalty, and the room/amenities were very comfortable. It didn't take long for us to validate our decision to book a Rabbies tour vs driving. We ENJOYED every minute, and thanks to Graeme, our trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you! I highly recommend this tour! You won't be disappointed!

What an absolutely fantastic experience!! I cannot say enough about the tour & our wonderful guide/driver Robbie! He was friendly, knowledgeable & boy did he work! Went out of his way to fit in any special requests, kept us well informed on everything we saw & did all while driving some pretty long days. The scenery was so beautiful pictures can’t do it justice, the people were delightful, the places we stayed (see my review of Fasgath B&B) were fantastic & let us not forget meeting the Hairy Coos & so many baby sheep! Didn’t hurt that we lucked out with wonderful weather too. I would do a Rabbies tour again in a heartbeat… & I would go back to the Highlands in a heartbeat too. A truly beautiful & mystical place with some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

We were extremely fortunate with the weather for our 4 day west highlands/Isle of Skye tour at the end last f May 2023. Our tour group was small, just 8 people so it was nice not to be crowded on the bus. However, one couple monopolized the front seats the entire tour and never offered to change seats with the rest of us. The tour guide never suggested rotating seats and allowed the pushy couple to have their way. Tour guide was just OK- kind of meek and dragged out stories. Maybe he spoke so slowly because some in our group weren’t fluent in English. Guide was fairly knowledgeable but boring.

Wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. The Bowmore cottages were excellent, and the whiskies were amazing. I had a great group of whisky lovers to travel with. I appreciated the long stop in Oban. I would highly recommend this tour.

Didn't have the time to say a proper Thank you to our guide and share my feedback for the trip...I just want to say this trip is Amazing that I will love to visit Highland again! Massive thanks to our tour guide Willie (hopefully he can see this), he is knowledgeable and passionate about Scotland. I've not only seen the gorgeous scenery but also learnt the history and cultures through the stories, songs and tv series Willie shared with us 😆

We just finished the 4 Day tour with Ewan as our Driver/Tour guide. A dozen people on the Bus. Ewan was amazing. He took us to fantastic places on Isle of Skye and the Highlands. His knowledge of Scotland history is fantastic. He is a gifted story teller and dressed in his kilt looks like a throwback from medieval days. The B& Bs we stayed in were fine. Some towns do not offer much options for dining but that is part of the charm.

The best decision we made when we decided to visit Scotland was to book a 4-day West Highlands and Isle of Skye tour with Rabbies! We cannot say enough wonderful things about the group we were with and our tour guide was absolutely the best part of the experience! Big shout out to Billy, our Rabbie's guide who went above and beyond all of our expectations for the itinerary and more! He knew so much about Scotland and told us many wonderful stories and history! Booking the tour was easy, any emails I sent with questions were answered in a timely manner. We also had Rabbie's book our accommodations for our family of 4 and they chose the best bed and breakfast locations with lovely hosts. Will definitely be recommending Rabbie's to those who want to tour the beautiful country and will look to see if Rabbie's does tours for any future traveling we do while in Europe. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
