  This morning ride on the beach was one of our favorite things we experienced in Costa Rica. Gustavo & Adrian were so welcoming & friendly from start to finish. They made my family feel very comfortable on the horses. My mom had not road in many years & she felt confident from the start with their guidance. They were super sweet with my 4 yr old daughter. Along the ride they found shells & even sand dollars they gave my daughter which made her day. The ride was so gorgeous along the beach & the horses were so gentle & easy to ride. They listened very well when Gustavo or Adrian called them. The horses were very well taken care of & healthy looking & you can tell they really loved the horses which made me love them & the ride even more. Such a fun morning. We were hoping to do the sunset ride but it was raining every evening so we decided on the morning & it was just as beautiful. They got us some yummy pineapple drinks at the end of the ride too which was such a sweet gesture. They even invited us to the cattle auction they were going to as their guests. Such a sweet family who really love what they do & aim to give their guests a memorable & beautiful experience. Thank u new friends! We will be back next trip to Costa! Pura Vida!!!!

  Went on a ride with horsebacktours.com today. the food and people were lovely, but the animals seemed to be neglected. They were tick ridden and their hooves were cracked and the horse shoes were protruding through. I would have had an awesome time if it weren’t for the blatant animal abuse. Wouldn’t recommend supporting this company. It has been hours since the ride and I can’t get the image out of my head of these poor horses.

  My husband and I and are 3 adult children did the Sunset evening ride on the beautiful beach in Jan 2019. At times we rode in 2-3 inches of water for fun, otherwise we were on a glorious expanse of deserted beach. We could have ridden forever! 2 of our children are experienced riders and loved the enthusiasm and responsiveness of the horses -The other 3 of us have not been on a horse in years but we felt well-supervised! These "ranchers" broke the horses on their own and the horses seem to enjoy being ridden! Our photos of the water reflecting the sunset and horses are beautiful! It is a long drive from Manuel Antonio but worth it!

  Horseback riding on a beautiful beach with well-kept horses to suit every level. We felt like we were part of the guides' families for the day - they were great with the kids, enjoyable to talk with and very accommodating. The beach was stunningly beautiful and we rode on the shore and in the water. This isn't a ride where the horses follow each other in a line, so the rider is commanding the horse, and the horses are docile and responsive. The guides made sure we were happy with everything and set us up for lunch and swimming afterwards. Truly one of our favorite days in Costa Rica!

  Horseback riding on a beautiful beach with well-kept horses to suit every level. The beach was stunningly beautiful and we rode on the shore and in the water.   We had an amazing time on the sunset horseback ride. The scenery was so beautiful, one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen. Diego was very helpful, with customers that had never ridden before. Providing them with instruction and tethering the horse up to his so that the customer felt comfortable. Wish our group had been a little smaller but we still enjoyed the ride.

  I loved that we could ride side by side on the beach and we didn't have to be in any certain order. It definitely made the ride more enjoyable. The horses seemed to enjoy getting wet in the surf and I have to admit that it felt good when the water would spray up on me as well. Very well behaved and healthy looking horses.

  When we signed up for the tour, we arranged for the taxi driver to pick us up in Manual Antonio National Park area. The drive was a little long but we still thought it was worth it. Our driver was very nice and professional.

  Great little restaurant/bar to meet at before and after the ride. IGood drinks and clean bathrooms. I highly recommend this sunset beach ride.

  This was the best part of our Costa Rica trip!!! 2 of the riders in my group were experienced and 2 were first time riders. Diego was able to accommodate for both levels of riders. He made sure the beginners felt comfortable and safe and he let the experienced riders have some fun. Beautiful beach ride! Horses were healthy and happy. I'd totally do this tour again if I go back to Costa Rica.
