In 1787,W.A.Mozart visited Strahov Monastery,one of the oldest Premonstratensian monasteries in the world accompanied by his freind-singer JosefÃna DuÅ¡kovÃ¡.In the Monastery Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary,he admired the organ,on which he also played.
Then we will drive towards theÂ Loreto ChurchÂ andÂ ÄernÃn Palace.Loreto Church, a Marian pilgrimage place with a replica of Holy House, and the Barock Church of the nativity The so-calledÂ Loreto treasureÂ is a set of missal objects, the most famous being theÂ Diamond monstrance.This church features a unique carillon.In addition, its organ is one of the most valuable monuments of Barock organ making.
Afterwards we appear in front of largeÂ Prague Castle complexÂ which has for over a thousand years symbolized Czech statehood.Most noteble is the GothicÂ Cathedral of St.Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert.Â St.Nicholas Church, a prime example of Prague Barock with distinctive green dome and bell tower is located in a Little Town founded in 1257.The church is a key part of the panorama, not just the left bank of the Vltava River.
