  Great Excurcion, The spots we saw where just beautifull. And the guide was really friendly and always ask us what we would like to see next. You can go for it no doubts. Just great and amasing. We never saw something like this

  I had booked this tour well in advance and was looking forward to it. There I was, waiting to be picked up, as arranged, outside the hotel. After 20 minutes of no-show, I phoned the number and was informed that Algar de Carvão isn't open on Mondays, so the operator had cancelled the trip. This incompetence ruined my trip to Terceira. The tour operator should obviously not accept bookings for days when attractions are closed. I could easily have planned to do things differently had I been warned in time. I asked for a refund over the phone - after all, it was the operator who cancelled, not me - but so far it has not been forthcoming.

  We had a great tour seeing the caves and landscape of the island and Rafaella was a great tour guide! We really enjoyed it and learned a lot about Terceira too.

  Whilst we weren't blessed with the best weather, Chris proved an excellent tour guide, driving us around the volcanology highlights of the island and giving us loads of information. She was also full of local knowledge and told us much of the recent history of this beautiful island. Whilst the lava tube (Gruta do Natal) and the sulphur springs (Furnas do Enxofre) were amazing, the highlight was the enormous Algar do Carvao. This trip was well worth doing!

  Really enjoyed the afternoon tour with Chris, she was prompt to pick us up from hotel and then collected 2 others from their hotel before setting off. She was very informative and happy to explain all sorts of information about the island as we drove to our first stop. During the afternoon we went inside the cathedral caves, down a lava tube saw sulphur steam bubbling from the rock and ended at the cheese tasting bar! Fascinating experience, one I definitely recommend to visitors to this beautiful island.

  Amazing!! Wonderful tour and so much incredible information. Tanya was knowledgeable and fun as a guide. We were so impressed. Highly recommend this tour. Caves, volcano, and cheese factory with ice cream- who could want more!!!

  Chris was a great guide and informative. Enjoyed the duck pond a lot. The cave chimney was amazing! We found the tour company by walking towards downtown.

  Der Auflug mit Miguel war eine tolle Gelegenheit die schöne Insel Terceira zu entdecken. Neben dem höchsten Punkt der Insel haben wir auch die Lavahöhlen sowie den einzigen begehbaren, noch aktiven Vulkan der Welt besucht. Miguel's Erklärungen waren sehr interessant und ausführlich. Im Anschluss durften wir sogar noch lokalen Käse degustieren. Erwähnenswert ist ausserdem, dass Miguel ganz ohne Probleme uns unseren Ausflug um einen Tag verschieben liess, da wir aufgrund eines annulierten Fluges erst einen Tag später auf der Insel ankamen.
