Overview
"TherelaxingnaturecombinedwiththeflavoursandtraditionsofMadeirawillmakethistour unforgettable."From Funchal we drive to Serra d'Agua, a valley at the center of the island. After passing this area, we go off-road meeting fantastic views over the north of the island (Porto Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, Pal da Serra and So Vicente). Then, you will have an unforgettable experience with the main wine producers in Madeira, followed by a guided tour through the largest vineyards along with a wine tasting (1 rose, 2 white, 2 red) and a professional explanation about traditions, wine culture and wine production. From this fabulous experience, we will continue our tour to one of the most visited places on the island, Cabo Giro, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the World (589 meters), known by its suspended glass floor viewpoint, which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic, Cmara de Lobos and Funchal. A perfect tour for nature and wine lovers.

Trip was fantastic, scenic drive with some lovely stops for photos. The wine tour itself was great very tasty and knowledgeable. Plenty of wine to drink, glass filled up time after time. Diogo C was a great driver/host/guide, endless knowledge and would chose him as a guide again and again. Highly recommend, we'd do this again and again and again!
-
Absolutely fantastic time, Diogo C was so knowledgeable. Lots of opportunities for photographs. The skywalk was a fantastic viewpoint. The wine tasting offered an opportunity not only to taste amazing wine (with refills) but a chance to learn about the local vineyard. 100% recommend.

Very unique experience! You get a lovely tour with high elevated stops and a beautiful location to taste the different types of wine! You get a lot for what you're paying and our driver robert was very funny and engaging with our little group of 6! At the winery you also get a little tour of the wineyard, a little bit of history and additional information about the process. After that is the wine tasting of at least 6 different bottles. If you like one, you can buy it there one the spot. 10/10 would definitely go again!
-
Amazing! Great driver and great experience I loved 1 and 6.. great opportunity to explore the vineyard too.

Amazing tour, breathtaking views, very professional guide and driver Gil Sousa; super knowledgable and enthusiastic. Wine tasting tour was also something to remember! Plenty of delicious wine to taste as well as learn about the origins of the drink. Would 110% recommend!

We booked a 4 hour tour to visit the Cabo Girao Skywalk, 4x4 off-roading, and wine tasting through Viator that started at 2 pm. We were pleased that we could be picked up directly at our hotel. When the 4x4 arrived we were surprised by how many people they loaded into each vehicle. There were already two other couples in the vehicle and we had to squeeze in next to another person. We barely fit and it was an uncomfortable 4 hour excursion. Our driver, Liam from Germany, was helpful and was providing us with information about Funchal, the many tunnels, and the fauna but with the top open and his driver window open we couldn’t hear him well at all. It was worse when he would speak when driving through the many tunnels as all of the vehicle noise would echo. We were surprised to find out the admission to the Cabo Girao Skywalk ($2 Euro) was not included in the tour as it was not mentioned in the tour description. We stopped at a scenic viewpoint overlooking some of the vineyards and waited for the other 4x4s to arrive. There were a total of 28 passengers across 4 vehicles. Since the wine tasting was to start at 4 pm so the drivers filled in the time with some “off-roading” on mountain trails. The winery provided a tour and then tasting of 6 dry wines (3 whites, 1 rose, and 2 reds). Both the tour and tasting were very nice. We arrived back at our hotel at 6:45 pm (a bit later than the anticipated 6 pm). Overall, we probably wouldn’t book this trip again.

We went on 4 tours on our trip to Madeira and this was the best. Rui was a perfect guide. He was extremely enthusiastic, knowledgeable and took time to talk to us all individually as well as in a group, remembering all our names. The off-road parts of the tour were taken with care and were excellent fun. The visit to the vineyard was informative and the wine tasting included some very drinkable wines from a small producer. We met some lovely people from around the world on the tour. This really was one of the highlights of a great holiday in beautiful Madeira.

Gil Sousa was super nice, took care of all of us, could speak a bit German so he explained a lot of things (he even stopped for plants, fruits, fotosessions, etc.) in two languages. Thanks a lot! Will recommend to friends!
