Uncrowded waves & some of the easiest most satisfying waves you can ever experience a surf lesson on. Beginners are often riding waves for 100’s of meters long on their first learn to surf lesson. More waves in a relaxed environment and a more personalised and enjoyable surfing experience. Connect with nature, appreciate the stunning coastal landscapes, and gain a deeper understanding and respect for the environment. Surfing in a remote national park creates an unforgettable sense of adventure and life time experience with the wild. Local and migrating wildlife can also be experienced on this surf adventure in the crystal clear waters including turtles and dolphins often feed and play in the shallows of the surf break. Whales can be spotted in season close to shore on the drive on the beach and in Honeymoon Bay.

I did a private surfing lesson with Epic Ocean Adventures. Unfortunately, there were no waves for beginners (apparently unheard in this area). I was a bit disappointed though the drive and paddling were lovely. Epic Ocean Adventures were so lovely at making sure they made up for it. It is sooo nice when a company has good morals. I hope to come back and do the trip again sometime.

An experience alongside a lesson - great to play in the waves with dolphins, interesting birds like hawks and kites and a trip along the beach to remember. So, I still need a few lessons to master this, but the fun, ah yes, that’s what it is about.Kudos Vince.

We took the Learn to Surf and Great Beach Drive day trip with Epic Ocean Adventures. This was definitely a highlight of our 1 week stay in Noosa. Our instructor Vince was awesome and his enthusiasm was so infectious. He had us all riding waves by the end of the lesson. Added bonus was the wildlife including turtles swimming around us as we waited for the next wave. This is a must do trip on any Noosa holiday.

This was by far our favourite tour in Australia! The guides were very helpful and the tour was well organised. The 4WD along the beach provided a fun experience seeing some natural wildlife and remote coastal routes. The beach that we surfed on had some great waves for four beginners who all managed to stand up on their first lesson. Jordy created a very relaxed and fun lesson! The snacks were a great treat on the way home!

We chose the Double Island surf or play adventure and couldn’t recommend more highly! While we were initially disappointed it was recommended to change our date due to bad weather it was worth the wait for a clear day. Vince was the most kind, chilled, fun guide we could have hoped for. His passion for the environment and love of the area was evident. The bus trip along the beach really set the scene with great commentary and an awesome playlist. There was also a great emphasis on safety which we appreciated. The scenery was spectacular with clear blue skies and white sand for miles and miles. We loved the surf spot at DI, waves were little but great for beginners. The water was so clean and clear and view of the of the coloured sands towards Rainbow Beach was beautiful. Another guide (we missed his name) paddled out to give us tips on snagging green waves which we really appreciated. A great day start to finish! Looking forward to seeing the photos if some are available.

This is a great tour, we definitely recommend it. Our guide, Vince, knew a lot about the area and is very passionate about the local flora and fauna (and had a good sense of humour!). The waves were a little on the small side but we still had a great time. We also got some good surf tips. Thanks!
