Our tour to the Nubian Village was spectacular. Our tour guide Marwa was very welcoming, polite, professional and knowledgeable. She suggested we take the tour during the beginning of sunset on a private boat which turned out being perfect. She shared many good facts, history about the culture Aswan, Nubia and Egypt. We even learned a little bit of common Arabic phrases which was a nice touch. To end the tour, she brought us to an amazing Nubian restaurant with the best authentic food. I still can’t stop thinking about how good the food was! Overall a good tour, with a great tour guide. Than you Marwa!

What an amazing time ! I had Nermien as a guide, who is just lovely ! I was very happy to have an Egyptian woman, with whom I exchanged a lot, on various subjects. It helped me to connect and understand the local culture better. She was patient and caring. She was happy to have a chat when I wanted to, or simply let me enjoy a nap on the boat. We had amazing local food at a typical Nubian house. (On top of that, great price price for the trip!) I strongly recommend it.

ERENY was our guide for the Nubian Village Excursion, Thanks to her explanation we discovered a fantastic culture. She knows a lot about Aswan and the Nubian Culture and is always open to answer all the question you might have. She also helped us to arrange our visits in The Cairo and because the tour was so great we also desided to have a nigh walk tour around Aswan with her. In my opinion, one of the best guides I have ever met during my trips all around the world.

Fiz um tour com o guia Mahomed, o inglês dele não era perfeito, tão pouco o meu, mas nos entendemos. Ele foi muito educado e atencioso. Fechamos o pacote na véspera a noite e deu tudo certo. Fizemos um tour privado, apenas meu grupo de 3 pessoas e o preço foi melhor do que a maioria que eu tinha cotado. Fomos de barco a motor para Vila de Nubian, é um daqueles lugares típicos para turista, vale a pena ir para conhecer, mas nada muito especial. Na volta fomos no jardim botânico, um acervo gigante de plantas da Ásia e África, muito bonito. Depois demos uma volta no mercado, encontramos as mesmas coisas que vimos em diversos pontos turísticos. Para finalizar tivemos curiosidade de ir numa igreja católica, foi muito interessante. Fomos recebidos pelo padre, um italiano que mora entre o Egito e Sudão há 48 anos. A igreja é nossa típica Catolica, com uma escola ao lado. Ele disse que em Aswan tem aproximadamente 2.000 católicos, mas muitos cristãos ortodoxos, dentre os muçulmanos. Valeu muito o dia !
