  • We took this tour in October 2017. The weather wasn't ideal, but wasn't terrible. I think this was a great time to tour Ireland as the tourist season was over and although there were still visitors I can imagine there would be hundreds more during the season. We had Freddy as our driver for Paddy Wagon tours. He was great! Very funny, very informative, very attentive to the needs of the group. He made the tour itself so much better. He helped us all help and look after each other. We had a great group. There were six of us in my party with one in a wheelchair due to an accident before our trip. He was very helpful with getting her in and out of places. The tour of Ireland itself was wonderful. Paddy Wagon took us all over the island and we saw many things we would not have thought to see on our own. The bus was comfortable. We were fortunate to have a new smaller bus that we could plug in to keep our devices charged and had wifi to stay connected to home and family. The B and B's were sufficient. All personnel at each place were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be Paddy Wagon should take the Bontanic Apts. in Belfast off their list of places to stay. The people there were super. We couldn't have asked for nicer, helpful staff. But the place itself is very old, dated, dirty, too many stairs. We thought we were staying at the Titanic Apts. in Belfast. Not sure what they are like as we did not get to stay there. The rest of the B and B's were clean and comfortable. Shout out to Seemus in Deery! He was super with our group! This tour is well worth taking. We loved it, we were very happy with our group. And we loved having Freddy as our driver!!

  • I did NOT want to see Ireland in a giant green bus called the Patty Wagon. I wanted to go in a smaller, unobtrusive car. This trip was falsely advertised. I forfeited my ticket in Belfast and left. Worst experience.

  • What an amazing experience we all had! I traveled with a group of friends, all in our late 20's, and we really enjoyed seeing Ireland this way. We were very fortunate to have had T as our tour guide. He is extremely funny, energetic and relate-able. He played Irish music, and sang along with us. As well, he pointed out his favorite places to visit and told stories. Beside having an awesome tour guide, the tour was well organized and allowed us to take in the beautiful surroundings. It would have been nice to have more time in some cities, but it was a great first taste of Ireland. The only complaint that we had, was that our group of friends was often split up and in different airbnb's. We would have liked to have been in the same place, as we were traveling in a group! The tour was true to what was listedwith a few extra stops/ changes by the buses request. Would highly recommend this tour if you have a short amount of time, and want to cover a large area of Ireland!

  • the best tour I have been one . great tour guide. saw a lot, had great food, and experienced Irish culture.
I would love to move here.

  • This has by far been our favorite vacation ever! The tour is amazing! Of course, we could have spent more time at several places, but this is a 6 day tour and you can only see so much. It is well organized and you get to see A LOT! Rory was our guide and I can't say enough good things about him. Entertaining, funny, and on top of things. Made sure we were taken care of from morning until evening - including pubs to visit each night. He can also maneuver a bus like nobody's business! We took the bed and breakfast option. If you are looking for fancy accommodations, this isn't going to be the tour for you. If you want cozy place to stay and really feel the Ireland experience, this is it! You will also make some amazing new friends. I highly, highly recommend this tour!

  • Absolutely loved Ireland! This 6 day tour with Paddywagon was the way to go especially when you only have a week to visit. Our tour guide, Brian, was entertaining and told some history pertaining to each places we'd visited. He made sure everyone was having fun. You really get to see so much during the 6 days. Although the day we were at the Cliffs of Moher, it was foggy and raining. No view of the cliffs were possible. It was so disappointing to say the least... can't do much about the mother nature though. You get to meet people from all over the world and it's especially nice when you meet fun crazy people we've met which made the trip so much more fun!

  • Freddie our driver and General had us in stitches from the get go. His driving skills are amazing. Filled us in on a lot of history on the entire trip. Did the B and B option and found the places very good. Saw so much of Ireland and Northern Ireland and got such wonderful photos and memories. Would highly recommend to any age group.

  • If you normally like to do your own itinerary, but are pressed for time, and if you are North American reluctant to learn to drive on the 'wrong' side of winding, narrow Irish country roads, then this trip will work wonderfully. You can't do everything in Ireland in 6 days, but this covers lots of the bucket list biggies. Particularly impactful for me were the Black cab and walking tours along the Protestant / Catholic or should I say Catholic / Protestant divide walls of Northern Ireland in Belfast and Londonderry respectively. Power through the Titanic exhibit, however, as the 2 hours given are not enough in a museum that can easily use up 4. The same applies to the Guiness museum at the end of the tour. But the Dark Hedges, the Giants Causeway, the Cliffs of Mohar, lthe Yeats Memorial, and the Blarney Castle: it's all there. The rest is the fabulous Irish countryside where you think just can't get more green, or more rustic, or more beautiful, and then you get to the Ring of Kerry region, and it does. I'd like to put a special plug in for Brian, our bus driver who knows his Irish geography and history well enough to know when to speak on it, and when to give periods of quiet. Good guy all around, and one of the best elements of the trip. The tour has left strong positive memories with me that will stick with me the rest of my days.

  • Malcolm was our tour guide for the whole six days, and he was absolutely wonderful! Beyond knowledgeable on all of Ireland's history and each little town we went through. Always had plenty to share and tons of great stories about everything and that's definitely what made this tour so special and enjoyable. Also, he definitely made a conscious and genuine effort to ensure that everyone was having a great time and seeing and doing what they wanted to do.I'd say he went above and beyond as a tour guide throughout the six days! As for the trip, very extremely definitely and absolutely worth it. I only wish I had more time and days to spend in each town and to see more. I guess I'm just going to have to come back again!

  • I didn't know what to expect from a Bus tour. I enjoyed myself very much! The bus driver/ guide Freddy was very knowledgable on the history and would always try and pull a joke. Good Craic! He was fun at the end of the day, after doing some work he would come out and party with some of the group. Eat supper with us, etc etc. He pulls some strings for quick access or skip the line type access into things. It pays to know people. If you are on time when getting back to the bus Freddy will pay you back with access or extra sights or more time at specific sights SO BE NICE TO HIM AND BE ON TIME!! Thanks Freddy!
Ireland is very beautiful. from North to South. Bring a rain jacket! even though somehow I got lucky with 7 days of sunshine! I went in July.
Oh and Freddy LOVES Ed Sheeran. Thanks Shakira!
