Overview
In the Middle Ages Kutna Hora was the second most important town in the Bohemian kingdom after Prague, due to its huge resources of silver. This private tour comprises St.Barbara church, an impressive example of 14th-century gothic architecture, the Royal Mint, where the production of the world-famous Pragues Grossus took place, and the Bone Church, whose interior is made out of human bones! Visit these landmarks with our private guide and feel the atmosphere of the medieval mine, all of which is part of Unesco World Heritage site. Entrance fees to the Bone Church, St. Barbara church and the church of the assumption of our Lady are included in the price of the tour.

I really really enjoyed my private tour with Thomas, he made me really comfortable and spent a lot time explaining all the cathedrals, churchs, and buildings. On top of finding a nice little restaurant for us to have some delicious lunch. Not only was this my favorite tour In Czech Republic but also my favorite guide easy to talk to and so kind! Thank you !

What a fantastic experience! Our guide, Lenka, was so sweet. Her English was fantastic and she was incredibly knowledgeable. She picked us up at the hotel lobby and gave us a mini tour of Prague as we drove through the city en route to Kutna Hora. We were a little concerned with how long the tour was supposed to be, but it was really a perfect amount of time to see everything on the itinerary. We even finished a little early, so she took us to a nearby spa for some natural mineral water and a quick tour of Podebrady. Once we were back in Prague, she recommended an amazing restaurant for lunch right on the river. Truly a fantastic way to spend the day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 hr private guided tour to Kunta Hora. Jan, our tour guide/driver, was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of each of the churches we visited. Jan was professional throughout and provided recommendations for dinner after we returned to Prague. His knowledge and expertise and humor were greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Jan to anyone traveling to Kunta Hora. If we ever return to Prague we would search him out.

Peter was great! Highly recommend! The tour was very interesting. Peter’s lunch recommendation was wonderful too. Thank you again

This is a truly unusual church and kind of creepy. It is decorated with actual human bones. Our tour guide was very knowable and respectful of the dead. He took us to a locals restaurant for lunch, that was delicious. I recommend Jan Pechac, of Lucy Tours. He is a good tour guide. He even was explaining about the crops in the fields that we saw driving to the village. We saw a Lego store and commented on it and he told us the history of Lego in their area. He knows his stuff.

Roman was an amazing private tour guide - punctual, personable, funny, patient, and deeply informative about everything from history to language to food. Our day in Kutná Hora was very full but never rushed; I’d recommend this company to anybody and would book my next Prague-area tour with them , too!

Talking on the drive to and from Kunta Hora about Czechia in general. Talked about the history of the country in the past and today.
