Day 2: Lima Cusco
Fly out to Cusco. Located at 11,023 feet above sea level, this is considered the capital of the Inca Empire. Be met by your guide at the Cusco airport and be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 3: Cusco City Tour
Take aguided tour of the historic sites of Cusco, including the colonial Cathedral and the impressive Santo Domingo Church. Then head to the Archeological sites of Sacsayhuaman with its megalithic stone Walls; Qenqo, with its carved stone surfaces and subterranean altars; and the water temple Tambo Machay.

Day 4: Cusco Sacred Valley
Tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First stop at a llama farm where you can admire different species of South Americananimals such as Llamas, Alpacas, and Vicuas. Visit the Taray viewpoint and travelpast Inca terracing that climbs steep valleys into Pisaq. After your visit to the archeological site, you will have time to explore the traditional and colorful market of Pisaq, one of the best textile markets in the Andes. Enjoy lunch here and then enjoy ride along the Sacred Valley. The next stop is Ollantaytambo at 9,200 feet. This is a small town with impressive Inca remains.

Day 5: Sacred Valley Machu Picchu
Morning transfer from your hotel to the train Station, where you will take the 2 hour train ride on the Belmond Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Caliente 6,800 ft.)The breathtaking scenery along the ride down the Urubamba Valley changes from mountain vegetation to cloud forest. After which we will take a half hour bus ride that will bring you to the mountain citadel of Machu Picchu (8,040 ft.), and you will check in to the Hotel. Once here, your Guide will give you an afternoon guided tourof theMachu Picchu Citadel, then be returned toyour Hotel at a time of your choice.
Stay overnight At Belmond Sanctuary Lodge Hotel.
During your second day in Machu Picchu, you will have the opportunity to climb to the famous Huayna Picchu peak or the Sacred Machu Picchu peak for a perfect view of the entire Inca City. You'll then have lunch at the town of Aguas Calientes before taking the train ride back to the Sacred Valley and then Cusco.
