Traveler Reviews

This was an excellent trip from beginning to the end. The individual guides including Lowe, Paul Oyugi, Peter Kenya and Serevo, Benjamin Tanzania were very professional, knowledgeable and went out of their ways to make the trip a memorable one.We participated in the balloon ride which despite the price was worth it, highly recommend. I was constantly in touch with George the supervisor by WhatsApp which made the trip convenient, It included 3 days of camping, which with preparation unknown to us as first-timers, turned out quite good. George greatly helped to ease the camp stay. We saw wide array of animals and birds. The weather was excellent in August, we were able to catch a glimpse of the wildebeest migration. Overall for the price the experience was incredible, and would highly recommend. A practical advice for folks travelling from the US Verizon does not work in Kenya for internet connection and cellular service. In Nairobi, Galleria and Utamaduni are great places to shop, thanks to recommendations from Paul. Everyone in the Safari team are hard working, reliable and pleasant.

We highly recommend traveling with Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safaris. The Manager, Mr. George Mumba in Kenya and his partner, Mr. Benjamin Ngalali in Tanzania proved to be highly organized and kept daily contact to ensure that all arrangements were executed according to plan. Where changes had to be made for reasons out of their control, they informed us ahead of time, and compensated us to the maximum ability. Furthermore, all their drivers were well informed re: the history, culture, politics, flora and fauna of the country , its tribes and customs so that as we traveled, they enriched our knowledge and experience. On a lighter note, the animals were out in full. We observed every animal possible and their amazing crossing of the Mara River. The campsites were fine - with beds or on matresses in sleeping bags. We met great traveling companions who had chosen different parts of our individualized safari. We were also informed in advance about the conditions in each campsite.
The only suggestion that we want to make is that the company provide a list of what to bring such as a towel for the camp-sites where they were not provided.

I would like to personally thank George Mumba of Perfect Wilderness Tours for providing my wife and I an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya and Tanzania. George was personally involved in essuring that we were well taken care of in the various aspects of our trip. The animals, the scenery, and the people of Africa will have a lasting impression on me and my wife for the balance of my life.

If you want a great adventure safari including seeing the big 5 with great access to wildlife and scenery and know that you will feel safe and taken care of please talk to George.
