For one day, join a thriving not-for-profit that provides unique training and livelihood opportunities to disadvantaged youth and women in urban slums in Kenya. Youll dive into the heart of an informal settlement, where the real Nairobi comes to life amid colourful street vendors, animals roaming the streets, and the most innovative forms of just getting by. LivelyHoods invites you to get street smart, accompanied by youth and women who have grown up in these communities and are now making a difference to them by distributing life-changing clean-energy products. We'll also show you some of the amazing visual and performing arts, and crafts that the young people trying to get by get involved in.
LivelyHoods is a non-profit social enterprise, and in joining us on this social impact experience you'll be part of the impact! And you'll also directly support the organisation's training and community outreach work.
