At around 210 Km from Marrakech the threshold of the deep South rises the majestic Ouarzazate .This peaceful city presents a fabulous mixture of castles - Kasbahs - and villages . The road from Marrakch to Ouarzazate is full enough of the richest panoramic views as well as the crossing of the high Atlas by passing Tizin Tichka , a peak of 2260 m as an elevation .However , before arriving to Ouarzazate , an essential visit can be done to the Ait ben Haddou Kasbah or - Ksar - as it used to be called .This castle - Kasbah -has been inscribed as one of the most heritage aspect in Morocco as well as in the world heritage by UNESCO. It's a striking example of the southern traditional Moroccan 's architecture

The departure from Marrakech has to be before 7.30 or 08:00 am . The roads goes up as from the Village of Ait Ourir, offering amazing views over the area, until the pass of Tizi-N-Tichka at 2260 m height, the highest road passage of Africa. Mountains and it's beautiful Berber villages can be seen all along the way. 20km before Ouarzazate, or the desert gate as we call it , we turn left on 10km to reach the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most beautiful sites of South Morocco and identified in the UNESCO world heritage. Then we continue towards Ouarzazate, or Moroccan Hollywood, which benefits from several cinema studios. This is one of the most famous cinema decors in the world where famous films have been filmed like Gladiator, Cleopatra, the Mummy ..ets
