You will need to arrive to Abruzzo by bus (please specify in your email if you would like us to come pick you up with a minivan or to help you with the tickets). You will arrive in L'aquila at around 10:40 am. After a beautiful panoramic drive we will arrive in Calascio, where we will start our day! Our walk to the castle will lead us through the tiny old town, where once the villagers lived. Then a dirt path, from which the stunning mountains will accompany our walk, first to a little church, then to the ancient ruins. Everything here speaks of history and ancient times! Echoes of old knights and courts, a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view! Santo Stefano di Sessanio and its old paved streets will welcome us for lunch with a tasty meal made of Abruzzese dishes! Explore the old village before we head back L'aquila to take your bus to Rome at 5:15 pm.
