the trip was not the best but I got to see new places. I would recommend and hopefully your trip goes off a little better than mine.

Had booked the tour from Dubai for a Day Trip to Abu Dhabi. It was a wonderful trip with complete satisfaction.
Had booked from India based on the Reviews of the Previous tourists and was not let down. Got instant confirmation of the booking.
The vehicle arrived on time, driven by Mr Altaf Hussain, an amicable person. We were six persons in a seven seater vehicle which was very comfortable. We were shown all the places as per the programme with the Mosque being a visit to remember. Overall the programme was memorable and enjoyable. Thanks to Viator and Altaf Hussain for making our trip such a grand grand success. Wish you all the best.

We were disappointed with this tour, although we LOVED the sights we saw. We were picked up at our hotel, with no introduction from our guide. We then picked up the other people - 6 in total for the tour. We were so glad that there were no more people, because the van with 6 of us, was very cramped. There was no overview from the guide of what we would be seeing, he did not point out any sights on the way. We got to Ferrari World, and he let us out. All he said to us was "be back in 20 minutes." When we pay for a tour, we hope to get some information about the sight we are seeing from the guide. This did not happen for the whole tour. We sat in the back of the van, and when the guide did say something, we could not hear him at all. All the guide did, was drive us to a sight, let us out, and tell us when to be back. Very, very disappointing. We enjoyed seeing Abu Dhabi and the Grand Mosque is not to be missed. We were rushed there, due to the time frame we had, which again was disappointing, as we are there only once in our lives likely. We never got to see the Heritage Village, as it was not open. We paid for a sight that we could not see. He drove past the Corniche, no opportunity to stop for a photo. The guide took us to a restaurant for a buffet lunch, which was good. But.... we were not hungry for a big buffet, and after we paid for this buffet, which we really did not want, we were then dropped at the Marina Mall, where we could have happily picked up a snack, rather than feeling we had to eat a full buffet. Why could the guide not tell us we had this option?? The other guests on this tour also felt the same regarding the tour guide. It seemed this guide would drop us off at places where we had to spend money, rather than taking us to the places that were planned for the tour. He did not point out the sights at all. We had no idea what we were looking at. We went to the date market, but it was prayer time, so only one store was open. We never saw the Emirates Palace Hotel, which was meant to be part of the tour. The guide had very little interest in us, and spent a lot of time talking on his phone, while driving at 120 km/hr. The sights were great, we felt rushed at the sights we were at, and the guide was uninterested in us and his job. He did converse with us after he dropped all the other guests off, and he seemed pleasant, and we wished he could have been like that all day. This day would have been wonderful if we had a great guide.

Ferrari World was superfluous for an older crowd. Gallery visit was unnecessary and items were overpriced. I suspect tour operator gets a cut. Driver was competent despite tailgating but not forthcoming with information or explanations. He was severely lacking as a guide Grand Mosque was extremely impressive.

Our experience to Abu Dhabi was very good .I would recommend only if you have the time to go as it is a very long day and a long drive there and back. We where in Dubai in October so the weather was hot but not as hot as other months . It gets hotter in Abu Dhabi so be prepared. Our pickup from our hotel was on time and we where dropped back. We went in a private SUV and I found it was good as the drive was quicker than a bus. There was only 3 of us so no waiting around for other passengers at each spot. Our guide was kind/funny and very knowledgeable. Worth the money.

Timely pickup at the hotel, friendly and experienced driver/guide, tasteful lunch stop and above all the visit to the mosk, one of the most beautiful buildings I ever visited.

Just seemed to have spent nearly all day on a little mini bus that was not very comfy.
Because of taking 2 hours to pick people up some things were rushed - not a lot of time to have lunch plus didnt even have time to look at shops but then spent quite a bit of time at date market with not a lot else to do.
Have to say the mosque was fantastic and worth a visit.
Didnt know our drivers name - he did talk about things but couldnt hear him very well. We did complain at one point about not really having time to do things etc and needing time to have drinks etc - even though it did say water would be supplied during day got one bottle at end of trip. We were told things had to be adjusted because of how long taken to pick people up!
As say just felt like sat on mini bus all day ended up with numb bums!!!!
Other trips may be better and more organised with picking people up - So may get more time in certain areas.

Pick up 2 hours late. The actual tour was not so bad, slightly boring rushing around and getting in and out the car for photos. However, the tour guide did know what he was talking about and gave great insight into the history of Abu Dhabi and was good at answering any questions.
