Great tour! Our tour guide Mary was super knowledgeable and helped educate us on parts you could not get on your own. Stopped in the shade to talk a few times which was great for various people of various ages in the group. Really easy to find and get set up.

Niobe was an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable and with a lot of humor! She led us past the crowds in a very velvet way and when possible told her interesting stories in the shade!

Our tour of the Acropolis was incredible - and it was our tour guide, Artemis Olympidou who made it such an unforgettable experience! We were in Athens this past July, during the extreme heat wave Greece was having. Artemis was conscious of this the whole time, reminding us to drink water and always looking for shady spots for our group to stop at and discuss what we were seeing. Her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for Greek history is evident, and she is so engaging, we could’ve listened to her all day long! We loved our experience of the Acropolis with Artemis and would recommend booking with her, if you are getting a tour guide! Efcharisto Artemis!

This was an amazing tour with a very a very conscientious tour guide. It is definitely a tour requiring a lotbofnphysical stamina, but well worth it! We had a few adults in our group who were older and moved a bit slower. The guide took GREAT care of us. They provided a lot of historical and interesting information. The views were phenomenal too. I highly recommend it!

For our last day in Athens (we spent most of our time in Santorini) we decided on the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum Tour. Glad we did. We knew it would be hot so we took the morning slot at 10:00. Very good choice. We met up at a local Yougurt/ ice cream store and met our guide, she was super enthusiastic! We were a group of about 10, all from different parts of the US. We went to the Acropolis first. Luckily we had our tickets already and the lines to enter were small. It was crowded once we got through the gate because everybody has to go up on set of stairs. Another good reason to go early. Once inside our guide took us around and showed us all of the statues and artifacts. We never would have know what they were or the history behind them. It started to get hot (not much shade) so the news that we were moving in to the Acropolis museum was most welcome, Once inside the museum we parted ways with our guide so that we could explore on our own timetable. What a lovely museum. A must see. They are also still excavating underneath the Museum which yo7 can view from above and down below with your Museum ticket. Highly recommend. Overall would we recommend this Tour for your first day in Athens.
