We had a very short visit in Athens this time before embarking on our cruise. This walking tour led by Helena was just what we wanted for an overview of the old city’s history below the Acropolis, including the changing of the guards at Parliament, the imperial gardens, etc. We really enjoyed hearing her wealth of knowledge about the 3,000 year history of the Parthenon and Temple of Athena. Helena was very charming, her love and pride of country was very evident. She was also very helpful at the end of the tour when we realized we were short on time getting back to our hotel to catch our transfer to our ship. She was able to make the the needed phone calls for us enabling us to get back in time. Epharisto, Helena!
