Overview
Known as Costa Rica's Amazon because of its surrounding rainforest, the Tortuguero Canal region is rich with exotic flora and fauna. Everything about this excursion was awesome. Our driver was great and very informative. The staff at the zip lining were patient and made sure we were safe. The views were amazing. Afterwords we went to the canal. The staff there made sure we all got to see the sloths, monkeys, iguanas, crocodile and snake. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We booked this tour last minute when the one from our cruise ship fell through. Could not have been better! We were SO happy with the tour and our amazing guide, Johnny Myrie! This was a private tour, which we did not expect. Johnny was friendly and knowledgeable from the start, and made sure we had the best time. Zip lining was also private, so no waiting in lines as others went through! Amazing! Johnny took care of us the rest of the time, taking us to local places a bigger tour would never do. He made this experience so authentic and enjoyable. He was flexible with our schedule, and made changes as the day went along for us. Canal tour was neat with a fun guide as well. Had an amazing half-day tour with Johnny Myrie! The ziplining was fun with incredible views. We had the opportunity to see monkeys, sloths, and so much natural beauty! Johnny did a great job driving and explaining the beautiful landscapes around Puerto Limon. He took us to a few local spots for some delicious food. We loved every minute of our tour and were so satisfied with our experience! I would definitely recommend Syl Tours and Johnny Myrie especially in the future!
