  • It was a good day, shame it was spoilt by a couple of activities that were not wanted or needed. The trip up to the peak was just awesome, but it was so rushed we only had about 30 minutes to take in the view, and eat if you wanted to. If they cut out the pointless trip to a jewellery factory and the trip to the 800-meter escalator which is not a world record length as its about 8 100 meter escalators who wants to see an escalator anyway?

The trip to the jewellery factory was a total waste of time, we spent over an hour being hassled to buy jewellery that none of us wanted, we all would of much rather had that time on the peak seeing the views.

Also, there is a lot of walking and there were a few elderly people in our group and because most of the day was rush rush rush, the elderly where struggling to keep up

The evening boat trip with dinner was awesome, the food was excellent, the actual laser light show was a bit of a letdown, but that didn't matter as the whole evening was good.

If this tour was tweaked slightly cut out the rubbish that most don't want to see and slow the day down a bit so its not so rushed it would be an excellent day.

  • Excellent first experience in Hong Kong. We were in the city for a short time and enjoyed the cable car with fast pass lane, the extraordinary view of the sky terrace. The sanpanboat tour was also very interesting.
Our guide Rex was very kind, helpful and interesting, we learnt a lot about hong kong population and way of living.
The visit of the jewellery was ok too, I bought a nice black pealr bracelet, I did not feel pressed by the sellers.
Finally the cruise dinner buffet was excellent lots of choice of occidental and oriental food, the view of Hong Kong by night is amazing laser show deceiving, I imagined something more impressive.
Really enjoyed the tour !!!! Would never have seen all these things by myself in one afternoon.
Moreover, we were picked up in a hotel which is not on the list, which was very convenient.

  • Not an awesome meal - it was actually pretty bad. We spent most of our time on top of the boat just to be out of the dining room.

  • Very well organized tour. Excellent arrangement. Outstanding dinner cruise. Saw the fireworks from the top deck. Highly recommend.

  • Beatifull city with good activities planned. they were on time and that me very friendly.

  • Booking a tour is an excellent way of getting to know the city/county you're visiting. This tour can be modified by allowing more time at Victoria Peak, Hong Kong's signature spot. Please eliminate the jewelry store visit. If people want to shop, create a separate trip for this. It truly takes the magic out of the City tour.

  • Very nice tour . Our guide was the best . Very professional. The lunch quality was little poor but overall service was great. We cover most of the history of Macau. I recommend highly to do it if you are in the area

  • Knowledgeable tour guide, but very difficult to understand. People in the back of the bus started talking loud making it more difficult to hear the guide. The dinner cruise was suppose to have a 15 minute laser show of lights. Waited in the cold and rainy outside, no laser show. Very disappointing. The dinner was OK.

  • We were very disappointed. There was not much information from the tour guide and it was rush rush rush everywhere we went. We also went to a jewellery showroom - why I don't know. It was a quick way to see the main highlights, but there was no time to do anything at any of the stops.

  • The pickup at your own hotel is convenient although it's a mixed blessing - you can spend a lot of time waiting around as others are collected / dropped off. This seemed to apply especially in the evening rush hour. The tour itinerary was very good. We had done some of the same attractions on a different tour earlier in the week but this one was better at most of the stops. We had a fast pass on the upward funicular at Victoria Peak, walking straight past the very long queue, which was great. We went up the observation tower at the top of the Peak, which hadn't been included on the earlier half day tour. The jewellery factory visit is definitely hard sell which we found rather irritating. Or guide, Candy, was helpful and provided a lot of information about local life. The buffet dinner on the boat was surprisingly good, with a wide variety of food on offer and plenty of chefs in attendance to keep it replenished. The drinks were expensive. One big negative on the boat which really does need fixing was that the toilet facilities were poor and the soap dispenser broken. Being unable to properly wash your hands on a dinner tour is really not good. A smaller negative was that we were picked up in a big comfortable coach but then transferred to a small bouncy coach for the actual tour, which wasn't the best. But overall, this tour was pretty good. It covers a lot of the key attractions in a short time and is a good start or finish for your visit to Hong Kong.
