  • We had a terrific and very enjoyable experience all around, from the wonderful--personable, joyful, and entertaining--captain to the delicious selection of sandwiches and sweets for the tea and I rarely, if ever, eat either sandwiches or sweets! to the route itself. The trip was truly idyllic--a calm and quite beautiful voyage through gorgeous areas of greenery and some waterfront houses. We would have enjoyed an even longer trip. The other passengers turned out to be terrific as well..a mix of people form the UK, along with a number of others from other countries. All amiable and pleasant. A small group, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend the trip and would love to do it again ourselves!

  • This was a very relaxing, slow paced trip on the Thames. The food was excellent and more than enough for an afternoon snack. A perfect break from walking all over Oxford. The only reason it was not 5 stars was that our captain, captain Chris, gave very little information about the river or the area. He was super nice and answered questions, but this was not a guided tour. So if you are wanting a peaceful, relaxing cruise with good food and tea, this is it. Just don't expect to have a running commentary along the journey.

  • Very peaceful trip down the Thames and through Iffley Lock. The high tea set up was sumptuous : finger sandwiches, scones, small sweets - all delightful. Tea also was good, of course, although English Breakfast was the designated variety and there was no other choice.

  • This was a nice enough cruise but nothing special. The afternoon tea was reasonable. The guide was friendly and gave us blankets to keep warm because, even though it was summer, it was quite cold.

  • We enjoyed afternoon tea many places during our two weeks in England. This tea was as good or better than any we had in London. The cruise was incredibly relaxing. Our guides were funny and told stories and pointed out places of interest all along the cruise. We had a marvelous time.

  • Went with my mum and my 2 children. Great experience for all 3 generations.
