Kids enjoyed cruise trip, seeing dolphins, sea lions, jelly fish...Akaroa town walk is quite chill as well. The down side is the long drive there, can be tiring.

Scenic drive to Akaroa (sit in front if you’re prone to car sickness because the road is very bumpy and windy) and cute little town to visit. Incredible views on dolphin cruise…lovely day out of the city

Scotty was a fantastic host and well managed our group of travelers to have the best time possible. Well paced, well thought out, a great day tour.

Most tours in the South Island revolve around mountains, so this is a nice day out to a quiet town with lovely views and a very impressive curse.

Such a relaxing trip with amazing scenery. We were really fortunate to make the morning cruise which gave us time to relax over lunch and then took a stroll around Akaroa. I wish that we could do sit-down tasting for the cheese.

Seeing the Hectors dolphins was the highlight of the trip but we enjoyed the entire trip. The van guide was knowledgeable and the lunch was great. The boat trip was great and the captain's commentary was brilliant

What a beautiful spot. Had the best fish n chips in a very long time. Wonderful shops to brows through. Everyone should stop in and see the Blue pearl shop.

A lovely day in Akaroa! Mark picked us up at the hotel and gave us a lovely narrative of Christchurch as he drove us to Akaroa. It was delightful to walk around the village and see the stunning views. We saw the dolphins, a blue penguin and lots of seals on the cruise. Amazing. Lunch at the Bully Hayes restaurant was great – we had some dietary restrictions which they willingly accommodated.
