Leave from hotel at 9am and take more than one hour to get to the Chen lu town and walk around in this 1400 years' old ancient porcelain town where many households are making a living by producing the potteries nowadays. Visit the largerst pottery musum of xi'an in the afternoon.Lunch is included.

Learn about the ancient art of Chinese ceramics on a full-day tour to Chenlu, this community of potteries has been producing pottery since the Tang dynasty, about 1,400 years ago. Travel from Xian by your private vehicle for about two hours to reach Chenlu, where your guide takes you to visit ceramic workshops. Now almost every resident in Chenlu is a ceramic artist. We will visit the ceramic workshops and walk around in the ancient porcelain town and have lunch with there. Enjoy a pottery-making lesson with a professional ceramic artist and have time to do your own piece.

In the afternoon, you can visit the Yaozhou Kiln Museum. The Yaozhouyao Kiln Museum locates on the way from Xi'an to Chenlu Town, about 90km north of Xi'an, on the western side of the older road, where depicts the development of the Yaozhou procelain, which reaches its highest level during the Song Dynasty(960A.D.-1279), ranked first in Northern China for its beautiful celadon porcelain. The excavation sites of the original kiln lies 500m north of the museum, you could walk there, which is also well preserved. Afterwards you will be sent back to your hotel in Xian.
