Know More about this tour

The Alsatian Wine Route offers a true picture-perfect image: fresh vines climbing to the forests of the Vosges, ruins of castles dating back to the Middle Ages, villages with old ramparts, hospitable winstubs (traditional restaurants in Alsace) and lively cellars. But it also pictures ancient abodes, Romanesque churches or fountains generously left by the Renaissance.

In the morning you will be driven to the Alsace wine route and arrive in one of the picturesque villages that line the wine route such as Eguisheim, Pfaffenheim, Rouffach or Turckheim. Here, you will be introduced to the wines of Alsace through two guided wine tasting sessions that will take place in the local wineries. Your tour will also include a walking tour in one of the villages visited so that you may learn about the history, traditions and culture of this unique region of France.

Aude was an excellent guide, very sweet and knowlegeable. She drove us to the 2 small villages we wanted to see, and walked us through while explaining their history. We then visited 2 wineries, and had a number of tastings. After, we had about 45 minutes to walk through the village and shop on our own before we returned. A very organized and enjoyable tour.

Fabulous guide! Loved the wineries we visited! When our guide discovered that we had already visited one of the local villages, she quickly selected another for us to visit. This was a great tour! Would recommend that they select a different meeting location that is easier to get to in Colmar.

Our guide, Aude, was very charming and very knowledgeable about wine.

It was a good one however felt that it wasn't worth of 64 - not value for money. The guide was nice, the wine testing was also good.

We found this tour very informative and also entertaining. Myrian was very knowledgable and new her products and history of the area extremely well. We enjoyed the two wineries that we visited and highly recommend this tour.

The time given to us to meet was 8.30am in the morning, but we have been waiting at the meeting point until nearly 9am. Then I had to ring the tour guide and found out it should be 9am. They claimed there was a faulty advertisement and asked us to contact Viator. We have wasted our time waiting!

A delightful afternoon with a young lady called Aude. We were her only guests so had a personal tour. Even managed a short detour to a village my husband wanted to see!
Particularly enjoyed the Richevourd vend age tar dive Reisling, just a pity we are flying with hand luggage only so not able to take some home.
