Meet your guide in central Strasbourg for your morning or afternoon wine tour. After boarding your 8-passenger minivan, travel away from the hustle and bustle of Strasbourg, and along the beautiful Alsace Wine Route (Route des Vins d'Alsace), a 105-mile (170-km) stretch of road that meanders through the bright-green foothills of the Vosges mountains and past Alsaces prized vineyards.
Your first stop along the route is the pretty little town of Obernai. Hop out for a walking tour around Obernais winding streets, full of typical half-timbered houses decorated in multicolored tiles, before arriving at a local winery for a wine-tasting session.
Learn how the regions dry and sunny climate, complex geology, favorable soils and sun exposure produce Alsaces aromatic white wine. Note the range of fruity, light, dry and spicy flavors as you sample most or all of the seven different varietals that the region produces, including Riesling and gewrztraminer wine.
Continue along the Alsace Wine Route to your second stop, a typical Alsace caveau (wine cellar). Taste more local wine here, and learn how the caves cold temperatures and darkness allow for optimal storage and aging.
After your second wine tasting, relax on the scenic drive back to Strasbourg.

Driving through the small villages was wonderful. The wine was delightful, too! Our guide, Florence, was so nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to anyone wanted to see the area & interested in trying the wines of the region.

We have booked up and paid online for the wine tasting tour in Strasbourg on 25 Sep 2022 for the tour to be held on 26 Sep 2022. The tour was then confirmed but the driver never turned up on 26 Sep. We then communicated with your local service provider online for the whole morning of 26 Sep and we were then advised that we would be refunded as the driver did not turn up. However, up till now we received no refund at all !!! This is considered to be totally unacceptable.

Florence was an excellent tour guide with a great knowledge of the region. The two vineyards we visited provided a good representation of the wines of Alsace. I have long been a fan of wines from this region but discovered a couple of new ones. The tour was efficiently run to time and was value for money.

Wonderful half day wine tour! Our tour guide, Jerome, was very personal and knowledgeable. The tour took us through beautiful countryside and the wine was delicious.

A fabulous experience. Laurent, our guide and driver was well informed, polite, friendly and helpful. He drove and guided us with enthusiasm and humour. The tastings were conducted in a friendly and ‘homely’ way. Overall a wonderful experience. I shall certainly repeat it, the next time I am in Strasbourg.

Great wineries and good wine tasting. Jeremy the guide was very knowledgeable about the region and told good stories. Andre the 2nd winemaker was very passionate about his wine and generous with the tasting. Highly recommended tour.

This tour was very informative. Florence is very knowledgeable about wine, the plants, the grape varieties, and had a great sense of humor. She was great! We were met on time at the pickup location. We laughed a lot because there just happened to be 5 of us from the same small state in New England, USA,and the other couple was also from the East coast. The wines were very good, the owners welcoming and eager to teach us about their wines and winery. It was havest time and they were actually filling a barrel at the time of our visit to the cellar, which was pretty cool! We definitely recommend this trip if you only have a few hours,we went to 2 wineries and up to the grape fields where she showed us the different varieties of grapes.

We were picked up promptly at the designated location and traveled about 40 minutes in an air conditioned, comfortable Mercdes van. The tour stopped briefly at a vineyard overlooking our destination, Bad Durkheim. Our guide ushered us into the winery where we tasted 6 wines with snacks. Our second winery included a tour of the caves and an extensive, and entertaining presentation by the winemaker. We had a great time and recommend this tour or those who want to know more about the wines of Alsace and to see a part of the beautiful countryside.
