Itinerary
Day 1: Manaus, Capital of the Amazon
Pass By: Manaus Opera House, Avenida Eduardo Ribeiro Amazon Theatre, Manaus, State of Amazonas 69025 Brazil
Reception at Manaus Airport and Transfer to the Hotel in the Center of Manaus. You will enjoy a free day to get to know the surroundings of the hotel and the city. We sugest the Opera House

Day 2: Manaus X Amazon Jungle Lodge
Stop At: Meeting of Waters, Rio Negro e Rio Solimoes, Manaus, State of Amazonas 69005-141 Brazil
At approximately 8 am, we will head to the port to take a speedboat in the direction of Vila do Careiro, with a stop at the Encontro das guas, where the Rio Negro (black water) meets Rio Solimes (brown water). We will take ground transportation from Careiro to the Paran River of the Mamori and then a boat transport to get to our Jungle Lodge around midday.

Stop At: Amazon Rainforest, State of Amazonas Brazil
There, lunch will be served and after a quick rest, we will continue to do our first outdoor activity: a hike through the Amazon Rainforest accompanied by a native guide, where we will observe birds and some other animals. The amazing adventure in the Amazon forest will start. Afterward, we will go fishing the piranhas, try canoeing through the Igaps (flooded forest) and watch the sunset. We will then return to the Lodge where dinner will be served. After dinner, we will rest and go again in the canoes with the guides to observe the alligators by night. Then we will head back to the Lodge for the overnight stay.

Day 3: Survival in the Jungle & Wildlife Observation
Stop At: Amazon Rainforest, State of Amazonas Brazil
Departure at approximately 5:30 am for a canoe ride to observe nature in the morning (sunrise and birds), then return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, the guide will take us to a walk for observation and explanation of some medicinal plants and techniques of survival in the jungle. Likewise, there are chances to find some animals like spiders, monkeys and sloths among other species. After lunch, we will go kayaking with our guide through the Igaps (flooded forest) and through the lakes to visit another region to observe different landscapes and seek the snakes. Then, we will go back to the lodge to have dinner. After dinner, the guide will show us the fishing technique by Jagaia (kind of a spear) and we will go back to the hotel, where you will have a free night.

Day 4: Local Residents & Culture

After breakfast, we will go out to get to know the culture of the Caboclos Riparians, their way of life and customs. We will visit their houses made of flour and the process of how the Caboclo produces their flour. Then, we will head back to the Lodge around noon to have lunch and rest.

Transfer to Manaus Airport (time to be confirmed depending on your flight)
There are 2 regular transfers from the Jungle Lodge to Manaus. The first one is usually at 8:30 am and arrives in Manaus at around 11:30h - 12h and the second leaves around 13:30h and arrives in Manaus at around 16:30h - 17h. We usually recommend booking your return flight for after 14h (considering the first transfer) or after 19h (considering the second transfer).
