Purchasing a pre-paid ticket voucher with TripAdvisor/Viator was a terrible mistake. Waited over an hour and a half to get through the security line only to make it to the ticket counter to try to have the voucher validated when the museum ticketing system crashed. Buy your ticket directly at the museum instead of Viator. Viator was not flexible with the issue and refused to give me a refund for losing my ticket due to the museum ticket system crashing. Must book your visit in advance through the museum website. Avoid Viator.

We had to wait in line for about one hour. When we got inside their system crashed and we had to keep on waiting. It was a waste of time just to get in along. People that were in line and bought tickets through their website got in so much faster. Apparently, that was about the only thing that was working!

Good opportunity to learn with kids. Well organized, easy access and excellent content. The service in the museum is everything.

Our tour guide explained why some exhibits are left in the museum even though they don’t depict what actually was , but there is an explanation of what is . Science tells the truth about many things we assume at one point in history.

It was a dope experience! Got to see different species of animals that are extinct. Only con was that some of the gallery were closing early which was a bummer since we still had like an hour before the museum was closing.

There is lots and lots to see, in fact it's too much to do in one day. That being said, its worth dedicating 1.5/2 days to explore all of the amazing exhibits. Also, if the line out front is too long you can get in faster at the 81st St entrance.

Missed the tour because of misguided direction of museum security staff. They directed me to two different entry points. I was running like crazy to get to my group. Viator directions could be better. A Viator employee did wait and saved me a ticket.

Very cool museum! Give yourself about 2 plus hours if you're looking at everything. Amazing Dinosour collection.

The minerals and gems exhibit was fabulous. Also really enjoyed the dinosaur exhibits, ancient civilization exhibits and large mammals. All good.

Regret Missed most of the tour as got delayed because of traffic & then couldn't get across to the tour operator Cally because of telephone related problems. It is a great place. Would recommend do try & read a bit about the neighborhood for a better experience. Had a great evening exploring the neighborhood.
