This is the way to see the museum. Our guide, Mark, was excellent. He kept us at the pace we wanted to go. Made sure we saw all the key exhibits but also allowed us to go places that caught our attention. We are looking forward to our next trip and we will have Mark take us through the Met.

Katherine was wonderful in keeping my two boys entertained throughout the 2-hour tour. The tour went by so quickly and we loved not having to wait in line to enter the museum. We would definitely do this tour again when we visit NYC.

Our tour guide's name was Mark. He was patient, considerate and kind. You could tell that he had experience as a teacher because his love for sharing and receiving knowledge was contagious. My 11 year old daughter has an attention span as low as her complaint meter is high and he was able to keep her engaged and the complaints to a bare minimum for the entire time of the tour! The museum is massive and it was nice to have a guiding hand to point out the high lights!

  • 14-Apr-2022

We saw most of the museum, Mark did his best to show all the highlights. 2.5h are not enough if you want a full experience of the museum but enough if you just want to get the big picture.

Our guide Matt was great! We loved how he explained the entire taxidermy process. Made us appreciate the animals so much more!

  • 09-Apr-2022

The tour was amazing! Our 14 and 11 year old girls absolutely loved it. Matt was fantastic and so knowledgeable! Will absolutely book another tour with this company the next time we are in town to get the in-depth inside scoop of museums!

Outstanding super informative and engaging tour. Mark is a very knowledgeable and passionate guide who has intimate knowledge of the museum and its contents. We learned so much that you would never get on a self-guided tour and had so much fun as well. Mark assessed our interests and knowledge and tailored his tour accordingly. Spot on. We thought this was a highlight of our visit to Manhattan and would recommend this tour, and particularly Mark, very highly.

My family had a wonderful tour today with our guide Jeffrey. Jeffrey was warm and welcoming and from the start made the whole museum experience easy on a busy day. We skipped past a very long line to get in and Jeffrey explained the history of the museum in great detail. We made our way through many exhibits and Jeffrey gave us behind the scenes details on both the museum and the individual exhibits that we would have missed out on if we explored the museum on our own. Jeffrey's explanations added so much to our understanding and deepened the experience for my whole family. We would have been lost without his guidance and we would not have gotten even a small fraction of the same level of understanding if we went on our own. I highly recommend this tour.

Jonathan’s enthusiasm and appreciation of the AMNH was absolutely contagious. He knew a great deal about the exhibits and presented the information in an engaging, entertaining way. My son (13yo) said it was his favorite part of our whole trip. My only regret is that we wandered The Met on our own.

From the start this tour was worth every penny. Our guide Mark was beyond fantastic. He was enthusiastic and great with kids. He had so much energy. I can’t imagine going to this museum without a guide. It would be overwhelming and hard to understand the true history and hidden gems this museum has. The kids got educated and had fun at the same time. They said it was one of the highlights of their trip. Mark was patient with their questions and encouraged questions. I highly recommend Babylon tours and Mark. Fyi my kids were 10 and 12. Might be a long tour for those under 8 so plan accordingly. I thought the length was perfect and we saw so much!
