  • We 4 Canadians could not have imagined a more impressive insight into life in Amsterdam than the morning we spent with Camille. WOW! She had captured the true essence of her adopted city and was so proud to share. There wasn't a question we asked that she could not give an informative answer. Her bubbly enthusiasm kept us captive - she made it personal by sharing her favourite potato chip stop, cafe, those car free shopping streets, etc., etc..

We had previously been on 2 canal tours - she completed the inner city tour by navigating us to the top tourist stops - at every stop she added to our knowledge from those tours on the boats. We had noted a particular grey pub - we were thrilled when she took us to see her favourite being that one, and sharing its history as an inside story .

The only drawback we experienced was demolition had removed our meeting spot - although Camille sought us out, an email from your firm of a change would have been appreciated.

  • Our French guide walked slowly so the tour was not tiring. We know lots of interesting places. She explained everything in great detail. I really enjoyed this tour.

  • I was very disappointed to have a young French girl who had only been in the country a couple of months giving me a tour of Amsterdam. Every other country I've been to has had locals giving walking tours. She was nice, but I really felt that I would have learned more from a local. I will always make sure in the future to have a local guide.

  • Fantastic. Guide knowledgable and made the tour fun and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour. Saw a great deal of the city and our guide left us with many tips of further places to visit and how to do them. Thank you. Fantastic

  • I enjoyed the walking tour. The tour guide had a lot of personality and energy. It would have been helpful if he would have provided maps to the participants on the tour to understand where we were walking to. He pointed out many things that would have been helpful to return to later - for example, best ice cream shop, or best fries. I had to take pictures of nearby street signs and then find later on my own map. I think for my first visit to Amsterdam a more structured tour would have been more valuable for me.

  • Great!

  • A great way to learn how to navigate Amsterdam and learn about this beautiful city's history. Our guide Tyler was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and obviously loves this city. I was particularly impressed with the respect he showed at Anne Frank's house and when telling us other stories about the impact of WWII. We were able to see the main tourist attractions, but also spent a significant amount of time in the local neighborhoods to get a more in-depth perspective. At the end of the tour, Tyler made sure that we were all now comfortable navigating Amsterdam on our own and encouraged us to continue exploring. It was an amazing experience.

  • Great tour from Terry! :

  • This was the worst tour ever and I have made a lot of them with viator . The guide was a French girl, who could not speak English very well. We could not understand a word. The tour was supposed to show us the red light district and she said that she would just show us where it was... waste of time

  • This tour was amazing!
