Flávio was an excellent guide. What an amazing way to experience the outskirts of Rome and yet be immersed in such rich history around how Rome and surrounds got its water as well the wider context and background of the appian way. My teenagers and I loved it.

A wonderful ride past ancient ruins and along the ancient Appian Way. The guide Marco was brilliant at explaining the history of the area. Overall it was a wonderful and memorable experience.

Highly recommend this tour - our guide was highly informative and entertaining. We covered 26 KM on the e-bikes so we saw much more than we could have walking and we went to to places without car access. Just a great way to see Rome, explore the city's history and learn more about the Appian Way.

Flavio was a fun and excellent guide. E-bikes are fabulous for 50 year olds. Just remember to slow speed down when you stop. A great day for teenage kids also and something a bit different to see in Rome. Amazing!

Well organise, Flavio was very knowledgeable on all the history.. my boys 10 and 12 loved every minute of it ! Bikes were of the highest quality and with them being electric even the most unfit person would be more than capable to do it… highlight of our trip so far.

5 out of 5!!! The e-bikes tour of Appian Way is by far our favorite tour and experience in Rome. It was a gorgeous balmy day in the heart of winter, with pristine blue skies. The meadows popped a verdant green while the aqueducts and ruins silhouetted the skyline. Everything is so low-key ancient, it’s surreal. Fabrizio our tour guide was outstanding, offering historical insights and knowledge throughout the tour. The e-bikes made it a breeze to climb steep cobblestone or dirt hills. 16 miles felt like five. I was nervous to ride through traffic but our guide made it easy and safe; the route seems very carefully chosen to prioritize safety. The little coffee stop was unique and perfect. The whole experience gave a deep sense of the gorgeous parks that locals here enjoy as part of their daily lives while also showcasing the vast and glorious history of Rome. This is an absolute must-do!

We really enjoyed our cycle trip exploring ancient parts of Rome we would never have found on our own. We were lucky enough to have a tour with only or family. Our guide Marco was knowledgeable and really friendly. The company was well organized and the ebikes were great! Would definitely recommend.

The bike tour was super fun and Exhausting. The Appian way was the highlight and I wish we could have stayed longer. One big issue is the old old cobblestones were so hard to ride on. Everyone was navigating them but I wouldn’t change it. The tour was great!

I wanted to like this tour so much but I wouldn’t do it again. There is a lot of on-street biking in environments right next to fast moving cars that probably only experienced cyclists would feel comfortable with. Those sections are not low stress or all ages and abilities. There’s also off pavement biking through parks on dirt paths with grade changes that were muddy and slippery. When we were on paved paths or more stable paths through parks or along the Appian Way, the tour was lovely. Unfortunately, it felt like most of the ride was not on Appian Way. It’s a 4 hour tour and we stopped for a break at a bocce club that had limited selection of food (cakes or potato chips). I was hoping we’d stop at the cafe along the Appian Way that I’ve seen in videos that looks so cute. Or at least somewhere with more options. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable but the tour route is not something I’d do again.
